Hey L.A., We're Going To Set This World On Fire

Chapter 1:

Michelle POV

I was sitting in class on a typical Friday morning. I tapped my fingers on my desk bored, waiting for the bell to ring, lunch was next period and I was starving. We finished our history lesson about ten minutes before the bell rang, a new record for our class since every two minutes someone has to get up, and disturb the whole entire class by sharpenning there pencils.  My thought got interuppted by my best friend, Haily, who was sitting in front of me, and my boyfriend, ryan who was sitting next to me.

"Hey babe, are you coming on tour with me next week?" Ryan asked.

Oh shoot! I completley forgot that next week, Ryan was leaving in four more days to start his new summer tour and that I was supposed to go with him once school got out for the summer. My mind was so wrapped up in helping my sister, Natasha, also the junior student body presidnet help with prom thats in a couple of days to think about anything else.

"Oh shit, I forgot! I promise I'll ask my parents tonight and I'll text you," I said.

"Oh Michelle your so lucky to be traveling all over America, Canada, and Europe!" Haily exclaimed in a loud voice. She still couldnt get her head around that I, Michelle Clearwater was dating the hottest boy in the ninth grade that was also a singer.

"Shh! People are probably gonna think i'm a h-" I started to say until i got inturrupted by a loud commotion in the back of the room.

"Oh my gosh! He is soo cute! Why can't I be dating him?!" one of the girls said. I think her name is riley but I wasnt sure. She had brown scene looking hair with the tips died purple. 

"No! He's mine!" said the other girl. Her name is Nicole and she used to be my best friend up to the seventh grade when she started hanging out with scene looking people that didn't accept me. 

"Ladies! Ladies! No need to fight over me! I'm already with her," Ryan called out as he leaned over his seat to kiss me on the cheek. I felt my cheeks turn a slight pinkish color. I gave a weak smile as I felt everyone eyes on me.  I wasn't the type of popular people that liked to be in the spotlight 24/7.

 "News flash Ryan, not everyone is crazy about you," said Riley.

"Yea we weren't fighting over you, that ship has long gone been sailed. We were fighting over him," Nicole said pointing at a guy in the back of class. He was reading a book and didn't notice that we were all staring at him until his brother, Jai called out, "Luke."

When he looked up there was a mixture of shock, embaressment, and shyness.

"Why him?" asked Ryan in a mean tone of voice that I never herd him speak before.

Just then the bell rang and Luke bolted out of his seat with his stuff and out the door. 

"That was really mean Ryan," I said.

"Well whatever, I'm sorry," he replied.

I grabbed my bag and walked out of the class room, trying to look for Luke. He wasn't in the hallway outside of the class so I just gave up and went to the Cafetiria.  As I grabbed a tray I thought about Luke.  I haven't talked to him before, wich is quite strange since his brother is dating Natasha, and his other brother is best friends with Ryan.  Up until this moment I didn't really know he existed.  All I knew is that he just moved here from Australia and was the new kid.  Not many people liked him because he was really shy and awkward.  

"That will be $2.50," said the lunch lady.

"Oh right, sure," I said handing her the money. I took the fries from my tray and just threw everything else away, and headed for the quad.  I stood next to Ryan, Hailey, and Natasha, next to the stage.  Today was Friday, and that means that they were going to be playing music.  The song that was playing now was Lost by Frank Ocean.  I danced along to the music as I ate my fries.

"Who's going to be singing today?" Hailey asked.  Everytime they played music, at least one person will preform a song on stage, and when no one wanted to sing Ryan would sing.

"I have no idea, but someone is going to be singing. They didn't tell me that I was going to be singing."

The song ended, and Luke walked on stage with a mic in his hand. Ryan, Hailey, Natasha, and I automaticcly got confused faces on our face when we saw him.  Just then Beau came up to us with Jai. Beau wrapped his arm around Natasha's waist and kissed her on the cheek.

"Hey," Beau said to the rest of us.

"I didn't know your-" she started to say but then she got cut off.

Luke started to sing Live While Were Young by One Direction(( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttfYbG32eZ0 excuse the weirdness xD)) I was amazed at how good his voice was. Once he finished the whole entire croud started applauding. 

"Thank-you," Luke said and got of the stage.  He was bombarded by a group of girls. He just smiled and walked toward us. 

"That was really good," I said. I felt Ryan look at me.

"Oh..thanks," Luke replied. Just then the bell rang and we were off to class.
