(Everyone's in the living room laughing.)
Dong-liu: Right?
Chun-shui: By the way, Yue-qin and Zhi-shu are studying at the same school. Have you two ever met in school?
Dong-liu: Do you two know each other?
Yue-qin: (Looks down, embarrassed.)
Zhi-shu: Our classes are quite far apart, but we've gotten to knew each other pretty well lately. Isn't that right, Yue-qin?
Yu Shu: (Peeks from around the corner.)
Pan-pan: (Smiles greatly) This is great. I'll be able to do stuff with Yue-qin in the future like shopping, going to exhibitions, music shows, and baking.
Pan-pan: And of course, talk about boys. We did that plenty.
Yu Shu: (Glares at Yue-qin from behind the wall.)
Pan-pan: I almost forgot the desserts I made. I'll go get them.
Dong-liu: Don't trouble yourself.
Pan-pan: Not at all!
Chun-shui: She spent a long time making them.
Dong-liu: Really?
Pan-pan: (Starts to walk to the kitchen but sees Yu Shu spying on them from around the corner) Here, Yu Shu. Go say hi to Yue-qin. Come on. (Starts to push him towards her) Go on. Go on.
Yu Shu: (Goes and sits next to Yue-qin on the couch) Hello, I'm Jiang Yu Shu.
Yue-qin: Wow. Such a cute boy. I'm Xiang Yue-qin.
Yu Shu: You know, I actually like you at first. But then I quickly didn't.
Yue-qin: Why?
Yu Shu: Because I don't like stupid girls.
Me: Well you sure like stupid girls now.
Yu Shu: Not necessarily. I just made an exception for her because my brother likes her.
Yue-qin: What grade are you in?
Yu Shu: Third grade.
Me: Eeeeek you were so tiny back then.
Yue-qin: You look a lot like Zhi-shu. You must be really smart too.
Yu Shu: (Slightly smiles.)
Pan-pan: Aww I saw that smile. You've liked her from the beginning.
Yu Shu: No, like I said. I liked her AT FIRST when she was complimenting me constantly, but her charm wore off when I realized how stupid she is.
Yu Shu: Yue-qin, can I ask you a math question?
Yue-qin: And this is where it all went downhill.
Zhi-shu: (Looks up, suddenly interested.)
Yue-qin: Of course. I can help you with third grade math.
Zhi-shu: How can you prove that one plus one equals two?
Yue-qin: Isn't that too simple? My kindergarten teacher taught me this. Pay attention. One banana plus another banana becomes two bananas, right?
