~Yona POV~
"I'm sorry, I don't understand," I say as I stare wide eyed at the giggling girl that was now hugging me tightly. "It's you!! The one who saves me!!" She says cheerfully as she smiles up at me. Her statement increases my already utterly confused state. "Toga, what do you mean that Yona is the one that saved you?" I hear Deku ask, which makes my head snap to where he was standing. His face full of surprise and confusion.

Toga lets me go to face Deku and Todoroki. She is still smiling happily, but now it's mixed with confusion.  "Why are you so confused? You of all people know what happened to me in the past. Don't you remember?" As she says this, I see her head become downturn. "Yea, we do Toga." Todoroki says which causes Toga to look up at him. "But you said you were rescued by a figure who was surrounded by a bright light. Passing out, then awakening again at the edge of the forest just outside of town-" Todoroki says but is interrupted by Deku who is now starring at Yona's wings with wide eyes. "To find a silvery feather that glowed similarly to the figure on the ground near you." Deku finishes while still staring at Yona's silvery wings.

Toga nods enthusiastically, then runs off in the direction of some stairs behind her leading to what looked to be a railed walkway that leads to many different doors, which were most likely their rooms. Deku's words stun me as I try to process them, try and make logical sense out of them. I feel like a fish out of water with this new information. Then I hear another man's voice yell something I don't catch. But what I do catch afterwards sparks a memory from a long time ago. "Are you saying that she was the figure that Toga saw? The one that saved her from that lab in America?" The man has many stitches and scares that reminds me sorta of a rag doll with its sewed on patches. Just then Toga returns with a silvery feather. One that looked exactly like mine.

I had just been assigned to an overseas lab in America that was in need of an expert chemist. At the time I had no clue they were testing the chemicals I was making on living animals and people. But one day, after about a year or so of being at the lab I heard a shrill scream of a terrified child. When I asked about it, they said that one of the scientist's children was having a temper tantrum,  so I let them think I let it slide and went back to my work. Then that night, I decided to investigate. Since I had been there for about a year and had done a lot of great work they were fine with me staying late with only the night guards in the building with me.
After a while, I hear the screams again. But this time it's not just once, but many times. So I used my magic to cause a power surge to knock out all of the cameras and overall security system to the area the screams were coming from as well as the room around it. It was an area off limits to me for reasons they told me were classified.

After this, one of the guards came to my room as I expected to make sure I was ok since they all knew I was still there. When he barged in, I "accidentally" dropped a bottom of chemicals that caused the guard to become unconscious after a good 15 seconds. I had created it with this delayed effect so that he could report back and not cause suspicion with the other 3 night guards before he ultimately passed out.

After he was fully under and I had removed my protective mask and hid his sleeping body behind one of the back lab tables, I made my way over to the screams that were now silent for the moment. Using my magic to short circuit the keypads, as well as any palm and eye scanners which were in lockdown protocols from the blackout. That's when I saw all of the cages. Cages filled with people as well as animals alike. Some mutated while others looked normal as they slept or cried. But there was one particular girl who wasn't in a cage, but in a small reinforced room with an observation room attached. The sight of this stirred my wolf as she growled in anger. She, just like me, didn't like this place one bit as she came close to the surface causing my wings to burst from my back as her aura surrounded me in its warmth.
