King's POV

We arrived at Nick's house fairly quick after he gave me the address, and I was glad.

I don't know what got him so worked up, but I was minutes away from pulling the car over and taking him in the backseat.

I could smell his arousal throughout the whole car ride and while it was faint, it still had me holding in the growls that Nash tried to make leak from my mouth.

Nick smells heavenly, I say we breed his ass in the back of the car. Nash grumbled out, his presence heavy in my mind as he waited for me to slip up so he could take control and do just that. I had to keep reminding Nash that Nick wasn't ready for that, but he didn't seem to care.

There was another car in the driveway of Nick's house, presumably his dad's. I was nervous, no lie. I was about to meet Nick's dad for the first time, and I wanted to make a good impression. This wasn't how I'd planned to meet him, but that couldn't be helped now.

Nick got out of the car before I did, shutting the door as he walked towards his house. I took a deep breath before I got out too, following him to where he had stopped on his porch.

As I walked over to him, he turned to me with a small smile on his face. I returned it, albeit a bit confused.

"My dad has always liked werewolves, so I think he'll like you. Doesn't matter, if he doesn't then I'll make him. Wait, I didn't mean to say that out loud."

I think my heart stopped for a second. I scooped Nick up into my arms without thought, drawing a squeal from him as I picked him up off of the ground a few feet. I pressed kisses against any place I could reach. Nick knew just how to make me feel better, even if he didn't realize it.

Our little moment was ruined as the front door opened, revealing an older man who looked a bit like Nick. I dropped Nick, carefully, back onto his feet as I straightened up, sticking my hand out to Charlie, I think. That's what Nick said his name was.

"Hello sir, my name is-"

"King, nice to meet you. I'm Charlie. Come in, we have a lot to talk about."

I rose my eyebrows, glancing at Nick who looked just as confused as I did. Nonetheless, I entered the house after Nick did.

Almost immediately, a large dog skidded into the entryway, blocking our path in. Nick bent down, giving me a delicious view of his ass while he pet the dog. I curled my lips in disdain. I liked dogs, don't get me wrong, but I didn't like my mate giving something else attention. The dog turned to me, sniffing wildly before barking and returning the way it came. Nick straightened up and turned to me.

"That's Sally. She's a little shy, I'm sorry."

I just nodded, and finally looked around.

It was a nice house, big enough for a family of five. I didn't have time to dwell on the interior design as we were ushered into what seemed like a living room by Charlie, who told us to sit on the couch.

I sat down next to Nick who blushed, trying to take his hand out of mine as soon as I grabbed it. I complied, letting him take his hand away. I could tell he was confused, and a bit uncomfortable, so I let him be.

"So, you're the oh-so-secret King. Tell me, how long has Nick known?"

Okay, now I was really confused, but I answered him.

"Uh, I actually just told him today, sir," I said. Charlie chuckled, waving his hand as he leaned further forward in the chair he was in across from us. I held a similar pose, my legs spread wide as I rested my arms around the back of the couch.
