+-It's Either This Or Death-+

Time: 7:30am

There were a lot of sounds going on in the Walker house. Two parents cooking breakfast, banging pots and pan together, two little brothers fighting over a chair at the island, and most importantly an alarm. An alarm whose intentions were to wake up the curly haired girl, but failed. The alarm was about to give up, and keep quite the rest of the morning until the girl reached over and pressed the snooze button. Sighing into her pillow, the cocoa skin girl rolled over onto the floor, letting out a loud groan. Standing up, she kicked her covers off of her and walked over to her bathroom, while music filled her ears from downstairs. The girl Father was playing gospel music. Its to release all negative energy in the morning he said, but to the girl it was just another reason to be grumpy. Turning the shower on, the girl grabbed her towel and rag, placed things where they needed to be, and stepped in the shower cleansing her body.

A few minutes later the water turned off, and Deja stepped out the shower, wrapping her towel around her body, drying off in the process. Afterwards she moisturized her body with Cocoa Butter lotion, and went off into her closet. There she pulled out a white shirt with the words "Cookie" written on it in cursive, a grey sweatshirt, a pair of black jeans, and some grey checkerboard vans to top it off. Dropping her towel in the dirty clothes basket, Deja put her clothes on, and put her shoes next to her book bag by her bedroom door.

Walking over to her vanity, Deja looked at the monster that lived on top of her head. Mentally cursing herself out for not maintaining her hair last night, Deja pulled out a jar of gel, a hard brush, toothbrush, hair tie spray bottle, a bandanna, edge control and a pick.

Quickly picking out her hair to get the tangles out, Deja then parted her hair on the right side, and moved on with a handful of gel and started to lay her hair down, using the hard brush to push down any bumps. Pulling off the hair tie from her wrist, Deja did a final pull and tied her hair back in a ponytail, pulling at her natural hair so her curls would pop in the back.

Taking her white bandanna, the girl laid the piece of cloth on her head, and tied it around her head in a decorative way, to lay her hair down. Taking the toothbrush and edge control, Deja did the traditional edge style, a wave. Sighing in satisfaction, Deja cleaned up her work station, picked up her book bag and shoes and went downstairs.

The first thing Deja heard was the Gospel music getting louder in her ears, and her brothers arguing. "Morning Deja, you've been quiet this morning" Deja's Mother, Kesha greeted, as Deja turned the corner, placing her shoes by the front door. "What's for breakfast?" Deja asked, ignoring her Mother's comment. "For us, bacon and pancakes, you oatmeal and an apple since you're fasting" Kesha said making sure her Daughter stays on track with her thirty day fasting. In their religion if you stopped fasting you would bring bad luck to your family, however Deja never believed in that part. "Yum" Deja sarcastically smiled. "Don't think you're not too old to get a beating Deja" Kesha scolded playfully, but with a hint of seriousness. "Yes Mam"

Looking over at her Father, wondering why he didn't greet her, all Deja saw was the same thing, her Father on the phone running his mouth. Ever since he got his new job, it seemed like it followed him home. She wished he would just put the phone down for one day and actually pay attention to his family... Sighing, Deja turned towards her oatmeal and apple, and started eating, blocking out all the noise.

However, no one took notice of the black van parked right across the street from the house. Not even the neighbors. To everyone it looked like a normal van, but on the inside not even one percent could be found as normal. Not even the tuna sandwich with raw deer blood on it. "Dude we're seriously trying to kidnap our mate, and you're eating?" the blonde asked confused at the curly guy actions. "Hey it's this or someone" the fake curly hair guy responded referring to a human. "Shh, look" a tall figure said. Looking out the tinted windows the group of five saw her. Deja. There she was leaving her house, with book bag and keys in hand. The girl got into her car, and drove off headed to school, completely oblivious of the black van. "You guys sure about this?" a blue eyed boy asked.

"It's either this or death"
