"W-wait! Jisung! Slow down!" I panted, trying to pry my hand from Jisung's grip as he literally drags me across the forest.

"Hang in there, Y/N. Just a little more. We have to meet the others on the meeting place." Jisung said, tightening his grip on my hand.

"H-how did we even manage to escape the mansion? I thought Chan has his power guarding the place," I asked, enduring the burning pain in my legs after all the running we did.

"Didn't you realize? You're more than a life manipulator than you think. Chan can just have you pause his life countdown without using your whole life. He needs something else, Y/N,"

"Your power includes power regeneration,"

"W-what...? Then that means...."

"Chan lost his power,"

"What about the school-" I asked while dodging a branch.

"The only thing left in his power is mind reading. He used his money to blackmail the principal. Naturally it was unnecessary, but he took precaution. So, he had the principal think he doesn't know you, burn your school records. He took advantage of the fact that no one will come looking for you when you're gone,"

"Then the librarian-"

"That was Hyunjin. He proposed that maybe if we scared you enough, you'll be extra careful when you saw Minho. But, Chan went overboard and had Felix and Minho kidnap you,"

"Then, he's also the man?!" I asked, mind wandering back to the man that I had comforted back when I first saw Jeongin.

"He was also the woman looking at you at the hospital,"

[FLASHBACK]

A quiet walk with my earphone on my ear, blasting random music I happened to like, I paused in the middle of the sidewalk, suddenly feeling something or rather, someone looking at me. Looking above, I did saw someone looking at me, looking right through my eyes and on my soul. On the seventh floor of Seoul's General Hospital (made that up), on the window, a woman dressed in a long hospital gown peered down on me, an empty expression on her face, almost looking dead. I squinted, the sunlight making it hard to see her, but once I did, I walked away, bothered at the woman.

She looked around my age but something did bother me, her countdown is having a glitch from 00:05 to 00:06 but it was constantly blinking, as if its time and her life was struggling to move forward, but it wasn't just her countdown, it was also her face. Her face unnerved me to no end.
