The sound of a gun shot rang out, screams soon followed. My eyes shot open; men had broken into the chamber, shooting guards as they go. Citizens were screaming, trying to flee to safety. The guard that originally had a gun point to my head was now laying on the floor in front of me a pool of blood surrounded him. Robert Munkin ran as fast as he could to the silver doors, a guard quickly shut the door, I tried to spot Amador and Maille, but I couldn't see them with all the commotion. I hoped they were okay. Two men jump on stage; one of them shot the guards holding me, making me fall forward. I struggled to get up, I felt myself getting pick up and thrown over someone's shoulder.
"Let me go"! I screamed. The man leaps upward, running and jumping off the stage with me on his shoulder. "What was going on?" I thought. The man carried me out of the room dodging guards and crying people. He ran all the way to the back entrance of the building. A man was standing at the door as we came forward; he opened the door letting us have access to the outdoors. Once out side he gently settled me on my feet, grabbing my hands and unlocking the cuffs. I carefully rub the bruises from my wrists. "What's going on"! I demanded. "Wait where are you going"? The man ignored me and turns around slipping back inside the building full of distress.
I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding. I stood facing the building, there were still gunshots ranging out, the sound seemed to bounce off of me. I felt scared I didn't understand I was supposed to die, that what suppose to be my end. Instead I would live to see another day.
"How you manage to get into that much trouble, I will never understand". His voice sent shivers down my spin. I spun around so fast if anyone would have been standing close to me I would have probably given him or her whiplash.
There he stood, arms crossed against his chest head tilted to the side, something he did often, but would never admit it. He still was as beautiful as ever, his grey eyes stared at me, waiting for me to make a move. I felt paralyzed, I couldn't breath this didn't feel real I wasn't suppose to see him again. Staring at him now he still managed to take my breath away. I didn't say anything; I just ran towards him as fast as I could jumping into his arms raping my arms around his neck. His arms strung there way around me holding me tight against him. I almost forgot how much I mist being in his arms.
"Your okay", he whispered. "Your safe". He said quietly into my hair. I didn't realize I was crying until he pulled back gently wiping the tear that had escaped down my cheek.
"I love you". Warren smiled slightly
"I love you".
More gunshots were heard from inside, making me jump. "Come on! We must go"! He quickly grabs my hand pulling me farther away from the building. I look back once more, life will never be the same, I'm not the same girl who grew up in a rich house, or you had two best friends, I am a different person, that scares me.
I have him now, that's all I need.
