After his admittedly miserable escape attempt he was confined to his room. He didn't know why. It had been made clear he had no where to go. But every time tried to leave one of the Chloes would appear out of nowhere and usher him back in. They rarely spoke to him and he gave up trying to talk to them

Once a day he'd be brought out to the dining room. Kamski would sit there eating lunch or dinner and ask him questions. He placed a camera in the middle of the table. Jimin sat there, in silence mostly, as he asked question after question. Where was he from? Who created him? Why?

"Why dancing?"

He looked up at that. The man's eyes narrowed at the interest. He never seemed bothered by the androids lack of response. But occasionally when something he said caught his attention, he'd latch onto it.

"You're android hiding among humans and yet you chose a profession that places you in the centre of attention."

The boy smirked at that. Still he said nothing, staring first at the camera and then at the man himself. Kamski waited.

"Perhaps I like it," he said at last, "being the centre of attention."

"That's not very logical choice, you knew the consequences of being found out."

Jimin shrugged, " I saw a performance, back home we had some really old videos and I was looking through them. And I saw them dancing... and I decided I wanted to do that."

He smiled at the memory. He remembered watching them, the way the music seemed to move them all across the stage and he'd known.

"Just like that?"

"Just like that,"  he flashed a wide, almost genuine smile at the man.

Kamski chewed thoughtfully as he watched him then he nodded and carried on.

"Where's home?"

That to shut him up. He dropped his gaze back down to his hand and switch off from whatever was being said. He sat there another 10 minutes before being escorted back to his room. Standing outside his room he sighed.

"How long are you gonna keep me here," he whispered.

He flinched was a hand squeezed his shoulder. The Chloe stepped back surprised. For a short moment a flicker of sympathy danced in her eyes which calmed him down slightly. He rushed into the room - he would not let them see him cry again.

The next morning he woke up to find a bunch of old fashioned CDs on the edge of his bed. Beside them player. He shivered as he looked through them. They were all tracks he'd danced to before. His hand brushed over one, it was old, from one of his first performances back at school.

As the music started playing he stepped into the centre of the big empty room. He could barely remember the steps at first, stopping and starting, only half listening. He could almost hear the three of them laughing in the practise room together. It had been late at that night and they were supposed to be quiet.

Memories came back so softly he almost didn't notice and he fell through familiar movements just like he used to. Gliding through the space, he spun around and saw someone in the doorway.

"Chloe?" He said freezing in place.

The music carried on playing as the two stood for moment.

"You're very good,"

She offered a small smile. He returned it and walked over to her. Grabbing her arm he pulled her out of the doorway and into the room.

"Come on," he said, trying to feel as happy as he sounded, "Let me show you-"
