"I'll pretend you didn't just say that."

You grab Vin's shoulders and steer her back inside the house. You were on your way to buy some groceries when she popped up out of no where wanting to tag along.

Haneul and Jimin aren't around. And if this girl thinks the wind's gonna take care of her child, then she needs to get her life checked.

"You have a baby inside the house." You remind her with a hiss. "Don't forget that. Now go upstairs and I'll be back before you even know it."

Vin pouts her lips as she watches you about to close the door. She stops you before you can slam it on her face. "Wait. How about I go get the groceries and you stay to watch over Tae."

You send her an incredulous look. "I'd love to, Vin. But I have to stop by my house first and pi-"

"I'll get it for you." She interrupts. "Just name it. I'll pick it up for you."

Laughing with zero enthusiasm, you wave her off and proceed to close the door. "I'll be back."

"Chicken or beef."

You stare at the refrigerator, trying to pick something for dinner.

Chicken sounds tempting, but you've been having it all week because of Vin.

Beef on the other hand. Not your liking.

Looking at the blood seeping from the raw meat almost makes you want to hurl.

Guess it's salad for you today.

You're about to walk away when someone suddenly drops a couple of cereal boxes into your cart.

"And milk." Jimin sends you a charming smile as he puts a galloon of milk into the cart. "I had a feeling you'd be here. Here. Allow me."

He takes the cart from you and walks into an isle. Immediately, you grab the packet of chicken and chase after the man and your stroller.

When you catch up with the Jimin, he takes the chicken from you and brings it to his eye-level.

You ask him. "Where have you been? And where's Haneul?"

Vin didn't bother giving you an idea of where they had disappeared off to when you asked her this morning.

Jimin inspects the chicken like it's some type of virus before placing it down. "Haneul's on his way to his hometown. And I was at work."

Hometown? In Busan? He's leaving again right after Vin gave birth?

"Is this all?"

Nodding your head, Jimin brings the cart to the counter.

"Put it back. I'll pay."

If he says so. You slip your wallet back into your bag as Jimin pulls out his black card.

The assistant behind the counter blushes when Jimin sends her a wink.
Quickly fumbling with the plastics, she hands Jimin the stuffs and he thanks her with a smile.

"What?"

You shake your head, grinning. "Don't you think it's about time you get serious?"

As if you just cracked a joke, Jimin laughs hysterically. "Right. And you're one to say it."  He nudges your side, raising both his eyebrows. "I'll be serious. If it's you."

"Don't be crazy." You tell him, fetching your keys. Jimin stares at you with this playful smile across his lips. "Let me guess. You didn't bring your car?"

"I had a feeling you'd be here." He admits. "Why would I need a car when you can just drive me."

You make a show of throwing up when you catch the double meaning. The reaction erupts a little giggle from Jimin.

"Who's the pervert between us now, Y/n."

"Just get in the car." You gesture him.

After dumping the groceries at the trunk of the car, Jimin makes himself comfortable at the passenger seat beside you. "As you wish. How's Vin by the way?"

You drive out of the parking lot. "She's fine." A complete understatement.

The girl just won't stay still. Jumping all around the house like she didn't just give birth.

For a girl in her situation, you can't help but wonder where the energy comes from.

Sometimes you wonder if she's even human.
