While Barry was running back to the right timeline he ran past memories he'd never actually experienced, because it was the other Barry's life.
He knew he shouldn't be thinking about visiting them. But when he suddenly saw lights, flowers and a wonderfully decorated Queen Mansion he got so distracted that he stumbled into the memory.
From the corner of the room where he was hiding out, he watched Felicity approach Oliver, who looked very handsome in a fancy suit and bow tie.
"Remember how I told you that we needed him when Barry first entered our lives?" Felicity asked as she straightened Oliver's bow tie. Oliver nodded and smiled "mhm, I wasn't exactly ecstatic about that."
Felicity laughed. "No, you weren't."
"But in my defense I had no idea how much I'd truly come to need him." Oliver said and was hugged by Felicity before she walked up to chairs that were turned towards the altar and took a seat next to Ray. Barry could spot Cisco, Caitlin & Ronnie in one row of people. He also spotted Joe and even his own father, Henry was there too. Along with Martin Stein. Eddie was also present, which made Barry wonder if he never died in this timeline or if this was just taking place before his death? When he spotted Wells in his wheelchair he knew it was definitely the latter.
Moira Queen was also alive and was sitting on a row with Thea & Roy. Behind them were Laurel & Quentin Lance. Lyla was sitting next to an empty chair.
When Barry saw all these people he became very emotional.
Suddenly music started playing. He saw Diggle approaching Oliver next to what looked like a homemade altar in the middle of the gigantic living room in the Queen Mansion. "I'm just making sure you're not gonna bail on your own wedding." Diggle said. Oliver smiled at the thought of all the times he'd sneaked away from his friend and former bodyguard in the past. "Might sound a bit ironical considering who I'm about to marry, but I'm done running away." Oliver said and Barry almost teared up again watching them hug it out. The music started playing again and then he saw himself walking down the aisle led by Iris.
When she had placed Barry's hands in Oliver's she took her seat between her father and Eddie.
Apparently Diggle was officiating the wedding. "We're all here today to celebrate the love the two of you have for each other. I don't think anyone came to listen to me so let's just head straight to the vows." He said.
Oliver and Barry didn't break eye contact once during the ceremony. "Barry, before I met you my life was nothing but darkness. I didn't think I deserved to be happy, or to be loved for that matter, but you brought light into my life and made me a better man, a happier man. And for that I love you so much." Oliver said and it wasn't just Barry in that timeline who teared up, the Barry watching from a far couldn't help but shed a tear as well.
"Oliver, you say that I'm the light in your life, but you forget that you were the first stranger who believed in me, so you're just as much of a light during my darkest days too. And I love you now and til the end of time." Barry said and they both smiled at each other and looked moved.
"It's time for the rings." Diggle said and Cisco and Roy stepped forward to give them the rings. "Oliver Jonas Queen, do you take this Bartholomew Henry Allen to be your lawfully wedded husband to love and to cherish for better or for worse, in sickness and in health until death do you part?" Diggle asked. Oliver didn't take his eyes of Barry. "I do." He replied as he placed the ring on Barry's finger. Diggle turned to Barry.
"Bartholomew Henry Allen, do you take this Oliver Jonas Queen to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and to cherish for better or for worse, in sickness and in health until death do you part?"
"I do, with every cell in my body." Barry replied as he placed his ring on Oliver's finger.
"I now pronounce you married, you may kiss." Diggle said and smiled while stepping back. Oliver kissed Barry and everyone cheered. Roy sang "you raise me up" while Oliver and Barry walked back down the aisle and into another huge room in the Queen Mansion where everyone else shortly joined them.
The celebration continued with a dinner, during which Barry sang to Oliver "nothing's gonna change my love for you" and the singing turned into their first dance and oddly enough there were no villains interrupting the wedding which Barry found really unusual.
After witnessing the wedding Barry knew he had to sneak away before anyone noticed him or before he lingered to long and damaged the real timeline. He took one last look at how happy him and Oliver were in this timeline before he ran back to the real timeline with no more stops in memories along the way.
