How wierd can it get when you finally get to know your sexuality after 19 years of your life!? It can get real wierd right! Yes! And that's exactly what happened in Ashitha's and Anika's lives.
The two best friends who were supposed to be just best friends and nothing more than that, suddenly one fine day, realize that they are sexually attracted to each other! It came as a shock and a surprise to them too.
Anika and Ashitha texted each other through Facebook, without the knowledge of Anika's parents. They texted each other every evening after college. It was a routine and still is.

The realization first dawned upon Ashitha. And it all began with a dream. Ashitha dreamed of some intimate moments with Anika. It was such a dream which made Ashitha think a hundred times about; over and over again. The dream was such that it wasn't letting her study nor read with a clear mind. She dreamed of those moments which she saw and 'felt' during that dream and that made her feel that she was - in real - attracted to her female best friend. Those thoughts were niggling in her mind till she confided in Anika.
Anika, as expected, was quite shocked when Ashitha confided it in her. She did not know how to react as she herself was not aware of her sexuality. She 'thought' that she was straight, but little did she know how her decision would affect their life....
As their conversation proceeded that night, the only thing that Anika was thinking was - "Why can't we be more than friends? I have always dreamed of living my life with her. I love her much more than I have ever loved myself!"
The physical attraction surely wasn't a part of Anika's thoughts that night, but she was convinced that she LOVED Ashitha. But at the same time, she also was confused. She thought -
"All best friends love each other!! But why does it feel different in our case? Am i physically attracted to her?! But if that was the case I would surely know it before."
And all her questions were lust left unanswered by herself. But she knew that something was different. Every time she thought of spending her life with someone she could think of nobody but Ashitha. Every time she saw the word 'love' she thought of Ashitha. It was always Ashitha on her mind. Anika loved her more than anything. Faith, trust and love were the only three things she expected from someone and all this was the reason. This was the reason which made Anika say YES. Ashitha was scared and nervous. She was wondering of this would spoil their friendship. Anika had a lot of doubts on her mind, but something just made her ask -
"SHALL WE DATE?"
That was a moment of shock for both. But surely, Ashitha was very happy and at the same time Anika had only one doubt -
"How is this going to change our life? We already are very close. How more close can we even get? I love her with all my heart. How much more can I love her?"
