My mom and I always liked coming to the park and feeding the ducks bread (omfg pls don't feed ducks bread, it's actually bad for them lmao). My mom is currently off of work, so we decided to spend some time together.

As we head to the lake with our baguettes (because why tf not-), I see conan gray and his lovely wife, ashley. They seem to also be feeding the ducks... with bagel bites. No, not bread. Bagel bites.

It's probably unhealthier to give them bagel bites, but you know what, they do whatever they want. I could care less.

I look over my shoulder and I see Conan smirking at me. Wonder what he's gonna do this time.

My mom decided to go across the lake to feed the ducks over there, and I didn't want to follow her so that meant I was near conan and his sidekick ash.

I pick small pieces of my baguette and I see a small swarm of ducks waddle my way. I sit down on the bench and start to feed some to the ducks. I even got to pat one of their heads.

I hear footsteps behind me, and I turn around making sure it's not a robber or anything. It's just ash.

"Hey, (y/ n)!" Ash says. She has a unsettling smile and squinty eyes, but I don't think anything of it.

"Hey! What's up?" I reply back

"Oh, nothing, I was just coming over to say hi. Can I borrow some of your bread? Conan took all of the bagel bites." She asks.

I look over to Conan, and he's just pouring a pile of them on the ground and spreading them out. Honestly what the fuck, but who am I to judge?

"Oh..uh..of course-"

Before I can rip a forth of my baguette, Conan out of nowhere teleports next to me and grabs the whole thing out of my hands.

"What the hell? Give me the bread!" I yell at him.

The ducks have probably scurried away from me by now.

I try grabbing the bread out of his hands, but Conan throws it into the pond while yelling "yeet" then laughing at the end.

I look in the pond, and I see the loaf of bread floating at the surface, the fish now devouring it.

"You idiot, my god!" I yell at him.

"Sorry, (y/n), it slipped out of my hands!" Conan says in a sassy voice.

I get up, slap him in the face, and mutter a string of swears as I retreat and walk to where my mom is.

I was trying to have a good time but one action made it a shit time. But it was kind of funny, not gonna lie. I didn't want to show it though.

As I go up to my mom, she gives me a confused look. I point to the bread in the water, the fish still gobbling it down and she laughs.

"Haha. What a silly boy."
