The next day in the chipmunks room, the alarm had just went off waking all of them up
"Right,who made the alarm"said a grumpy Alvin. "It was me,I have a painting lesson to go to at 10"answered Simon looking over at Alvin
"Well thanks a lot si" he said sarcastically getting up from his bed. "Hey,where's theo?!"Simon asked alarmed,Theodore wasn't in his bed "I don't know si"answered back Alvin and he too was a bit worried,they had always cared a lot for their brother Theodore and always feel the need to protect him. Alvin and Simon rush around the room to find him,they went out in the kitchen to look for him and were relieved to see him with Eleanor making pancakes and in fits of laughter as they joked around. "Oh theo,your so funny"she complimented him. "Well I am theo"he said tossing a pancake into the air and catching it with one hand. "So adorable"she squealed giggling at his skills of tossing pancakes.
"Hey Guys"said alvin approaching them
"nearly done?"he asked them referring to the pancakes he assumed were for breakfast
"Oh yeah nearly,go wake up Brittany will you?"replied Eleanor pressurising him.
"Why me?"asked Alvin annoyed,Brittany would slap me in the face or worser,Chuck her glittery bag at me and I hate glitter Alvin thought to himself realistically. "Because she won't listen to me Alvin!"Eleanor said back coldly
"and what makes you think that she'll listen to me"argued back Alvin,he knew that Brittany doesn't want to see him. ""Well I don't know just go see her"bickered Eleanor turning away from him "whatever"sighed Alvin storming off to the chipettes room. As he walked in Brittany was huddled in her blanket and wide awake. "Britt...wake up"Alvin said to her shaking her gently "I'm already awake,Alvin"she said sitting up from her bed.
"Look I know your annoyed about getting grounded and yes that's my fault but if you wake up,you can have pancakes and I have a suprise for you that you will most definitely like"he said compromising with her and her frown turned into a small smile.soon minutes later,Alvin had told Brittany the plan and she seemed to be quite pleased; Ellie and Theo served up the pancakes as everyone gathered round. "Alvin what did you say to her?"Eleanor asked she thought he must have secret powers,Brittany listens to no one but herself.
"Oh nothing really"Brittany said quickly,she couldn't tell Eleanor what he said to her
"Well whatever you said Alvin it worked"she said pleased but also she was a bit suspicious of them both. Everyone dug into their pancakes and theo meaning to squirt syrup on his pancakes ,accidentally hit Alvin "Theo!"Alvin Shouted and getting the whipped cream he aimed at theodore but it didn't go as planned as it landed on Brittany's face,Alvin awkwardly looked up at her furious face. "Sorry Britt"he said nervously,Brittany would definitely get him back for this "Alvin I had a shower last night!"she screamed at him wiping the cream of her eyes and chucking it back in his face. Then She laughed at him pointing to his face "Britt I said I was sorry"he said and ran across the table to smudge it all on her face instead "ok that's it!"Brittany declared war,she squirted all the cream on his face and he retaliated as they squabbled endlessly giggling as they did so. "Aww look how cute they are together"commented Theo getting both Alvin and Brittany's full attention "shut up!"they both screamed and headed for the bathroom "look at my face!"complained Brittany staring at her self humiliated "that was kind of fun,though"said Alvin climbing onto the sink.
"Maybe for you Alvin but you don't care about the way you look like I do"she said turning towards him "relax Britt"he said laughing at her. In the living room Simon is checking his watch "it's 9.23am,I need to go, my painting lesson is in 37 minutes"said Simon trying to be on time. "Ok Simon, Dave will get you there on time ,don't worry"said Jeanette putting her hand on his shoulder,she knew how he always wanted to be early or on time.when Alvin had finished mocking Brittany and she could sort out her creamy face,they both joined the others in the living room as Dave called out instructions. "Right so Simon you need to get to your painting session"Simon nodded
"Theo and Ellie you have a cooking lesson to go to and Jeanette your getting new glasses today"Dave called out and they all nodded silently. "Oh yes and Alvin,Brittany I am out all day sorting out stuff for the concert tomorrow,don't do anything stupid,any problems call me"Dave said turning towards the both of them,he gestured to the door and all of them except Alvin and Brittany followed behind. "Right let's get this party started!"Exclaimed Alvin looking over to Brittany "on it"She said bringing out her list.
