JADENS POV
" I love you ." I look up from my purple empty ice cream cup and gaze at the face of my angel,Lucy.

"Yeah , I know you do." Lucy says and a huge smile appears on her face. She walks towards the exit of the the ice cream parlor and throws her empty ice cream cup and spoon into the bin next to the escort of the door and walks back to our table.

"Key Jay,can i ask you for a quick favor?" She potts her red lips together and puts her hand on top of mines. "What's up babe?" I take her hand in mine. I look up at her green eyes and instantly feel my heart skip a beat.

"Well...I...uh nah have some how broke the charm bracelet you bought for me,please don't get mad it was an honest mistake. I'm so sorry. I feel really awful. I get if you don't wanna go out tonight."She takes out the bracelet from her bag and hands it to me.

I take it from her and her eyes follow the bracelet as i put it down on the table. I push a strand of her hair behind her ear and tilt her chin up gently with my fingers so that she can look directly at me.

"Oh honey, don't you worry about it. I'll get it repaired as soon as i possibly can and i know you wouldn't do anything like this on purpose and yes we still on for tonight. accidents happen." i gently kiss her forehead.

"aw really thanks." she throws her arms around me and gives me a quick hug. "anyway i've got to go to go now. i need to start getting ready for tonight. at least you not mad about me ruining the bracelet you got for me so i never had to cancel any of my appointments." she gets up and heads towards the exit, she opens the door and looks at me as she smiles over her shoulder, "oh and i love you too jay."

Those three words meant the world to me coming from her. I couldn't wait for our date tonight,where I could propose to her and make her mines forever. I have everything planned perfectly. We would go to our favorite restaurant and order our usual dishes. Then when the  dessert would come and the ring would be on the dessert spoon. i'd take it off and I'd go down on one knee and propose. She'd be surprised at first, with her hands over her mouth and her eyes wide in surprise. Then she'll finally snap back to reality and say yes and I'll put the ring on her finger. She'd be so happy and hug me.

Picturing her perfect smile in my head makes me wish we were at the restaurant already.
just the thought of us being together for eternity gives me butterflies and my stomach does a backflip.

As I knock out of my day dream I notice the charm bracelet I gave to Lucy lying on the table.I pick it up and think about how it could've broke. It must've got caught on her dress or something. It doesn't matter I'll fix it.

I go out of the ice cream parlor and head to the jewelers. I needed to pick up the ring anyway. Maybe on the way to Lucy's I could grab some flowers and surprise her by picking her up instead of meeting at the restaurant.

When I get to the jewelers I open the door,causing the little bell on top to chime. Notifying the employees of my arrival. One of employees come through a door from inside the shop with a smile on their face.

"Hello  and welcome to Halo and co. My name is Jane, I'm here to help you with anything you need."

"Hi Jane. Is Erica around? I needed to pick up something and I also wanted to know if I could get something repaired shortly."

"Erica is out for a quick lunch break, but she did inform me about a pickup." She says and gets a clipboard from the counter. "You must be Jaden." She reads my name on the list and looks up.

"Yup,that's me." I say with a smile.

"Your elixir ring is ready. Let me just place it in a box. And you said something about repairs?"

"Oh yeah." I pull out the charm bracelet from my left pocket. "Will you be able to fix this before this evening?" I say and hand it to her.

She takes it and examines it. "Of course we can repair it. It will take about half an hour max. It's just one broken link."

"Thanks so much. I'm just going to the flower store down the road. I'll come pick up the ring and bracelet one time. If that's fine?"

"Sure, no problem. I'm sure we'll have it ready by then."

"Thanks again." I say and open the door, causing the bell to chime again. I walk out and go to the flower store a few blocks away.

I enter the store and look at the variety of different vegetation I spot a bouquet of orange marigolds ,Lucy's favorite. I smell it gently and inhale the scent. I go to the counter and purchase the flowers.

As I walk out the store I bump into Erica,from the jewelry store. "Oh hi Jaden. I'm sorry I didn't see you there. Are you going to pick the ring now?"

"Actually I was there just now. I needed to repair a bracelet. A girl named Jane attended to me and told me it would take about half an hour max. So I decided to pick up some fresh flowers."

"Any way lets head back to the store to get you your stuff."

We start walking to the store while Erica finishes up her fries. She throws away the box it was in, into a garbage cans that sits in front of the store. I open the door and let Erica go through first. "What a gentleman." She teases and I just smile at her.

As if it was perfectly cued Jane appears behind the counter with a small gift bag in her hand that had the companies name on it.

there you are jaden. i regret to inform you that unfortunately we currently out of stock with that specific size link at the moment but tomorrow morning we will be stocked up if that's fine with you."she ate nervously and hands me the gift bag.

this conflicts with my plans of surprising lucy with the bracelet before our date buts it's not a major issue.

"don't worry about it i'll pick it up tomorrow and besides it can totally wait."i smile at her to ease her tension.

"yes sir i assure you it will be ready tomorrow."

"Good luck for tonight Jay and let me know how it goes! i want every detail tomorrow." erica nudges me, "i expect a wedding invite too."

"If there's actually a wedding you're definitely invited." I flash her a quick smile and go out the door.

once i reach my house i quickly to change into my outfit I planned on wearing tonight.

After I'm done I check myself out one last time in the mirror. Everything had to be perfect. I grab the gift bag off the kitchen counter and take a deep breath before opening the door.

Once I get to Lucys house I open the front door. I'm sure she wouldn't mind me welcoming myself in, I needed to surprise her.

I enter her house as stealthily as I can. I hope she's home, of course she's home she needs to get ready for our date tonight.

I walk down her hall and go to her room. Her door is slightly open and I peep through it.

I peep through it and see something I'd never thought I'd see.
