Jaden pov
My eyes widen in surprise and my whole body tenses up. My feet are glued in place to the ground and my eyes lock in place.

I see Lucy, looking like the most beautiful woman i've ever seen.

she had the her fringe held back by hair clips down the middle with the rest of her hair loose. she had long gold dangling earrings dressing her ears with a matching gold necklace around her neck. she had an orange tinted lipstick,matching her eyeshadow and sweetheart necklined dress that was tight fighting up till before her knees and went broader as it went down with a thin frill that reached the floor.

i opened my mouth to compliment her but i was too awestruck to say anything.

i was finally able to get sound out of my mouth but it still came out disshelved.

"lu..cy..lucy.." she turned around and looked at me as shock filled her eyes.

"jaden, what are you doing here?did something happen?are u okay?"

i walked towards her as i took in her beauty. "i just have no words for you."

panic flooded her eyes, "i'm sorry jaden i didn't mean to hurt you..."

i cut her off quickly, "lucy honey why are you apologizing wrong the only thing you guilty of is looking absolutely beautiful." i take her face in my hands.

relief washes over her entire body and she takes a deep breathe. "oh...it's just...i...uh," she looks down to the floor then to her hand. "the bracelet!"

"what about it?" i say confused.

"you know,the one you were supposed to repair, i thought they couldn't fix it or something so that's why.."

i cut her off by placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "oh god lucy,you scared me there for a moment. don't worry it'll be good as new by tomorrow and even if it couldn't het fixed i'd still love you." i wrap my arms around her to give her hug.

she quick comes out of my embrace and my heart feels heavy. i look at her with confusion and she gets rid of it by running her fingers through my hair.

"i didn't mean to startle you it's just that we have reservations remember?"

oh yeah, i almost forgot about it. i can't believe i forgot about it , i'm an idiot. lucy slips on her shoes and i reach down to my right pocket to feel if the ring is still there. thank god i can feel the edges of the box.

we leave her room and walk down the hall to the front door. being the gentleman i am i open the door for lucy and let her walk pass as she gives me a small smile. i walk out after her and close the door behind me.

we reach the restaurant and a waiter leads us to the table that was reserved for us. the waiter handed us the menu's which was kind of unnecessary due to the fact we always order the same thing.

after we ate i could feel the anxiety growing inside the pit of my stomach as though something bad was going to happen. that was impossible because i knew that lucy would say yes to me. i mean she does love me right?

right?

i saw the waitress heading towards us with a tray in her hands containing our desserts. i could see the ring around lucy's dessert spoon,the light reflecting off of it as it got closer to our table.

the waitress placed our desserts in front of us and i gave us our desserts. the waiter smiled at me and i returned the gesture. she walks away and lucy lifts up her dessert spooon as the ring slips off. lucy picks it and stares at it as her eyes fill with confusion.

"lucy i love you so much and would you do me the favour of becoming my wife for the rest of eternity?" i say while down on one knee.

"jaden...i...no.."
