The little fox sniffed at the strange smell. As it padded through the Raindrop Forest with its silent orange paws, it only got stronger. It had never smelled something like this before, not even that one time when he'd stolen a piece of bread from humans. (Not that he'd eaten it - foxes have a healthy disdain for anything human.)

The trees were tall and dark, with their roots exposed below them. Wet leaves and fallen branches covered them. The season of fresh wind would come soon, and with it those nice red berries the little fox always loved to eat.

It looked up in surprise when a shadowy figure appeared in front of it. The fox wanted to turn around and flee, but it paused. The smell, that strange smell, it was coming from the strange figure.

The figure laughed. 'Do you like the smell of these?'

He hunched down and opened his hand, and within were red berries, bigger and tastier than the little fox had ever seen them. It carefully walked closer to the mysterious man, who wore a dark cloak on his back and a tall hat on his head.

The man smiled. 'I'll show you how to find these berries,' and with a flick of his hand a magical gust of wind appeared, and with it as many berries as the little fox had ever seen.
