After casting the forbidden spell onto the princess, her whole body became lightweight. As she could no longer feel the throbbing pain from the remnants of the Dark Metal Vessel, " T-this is unbelievable, " the princess mumbled in disbelief before sobbing with tears of joy.
(Y/n), on the other hand, gave a weak chuckle, " You'll be able to live with a new beginning, princess. " She told her, giving Princess Dunya a facade smile that hides the pain that (Y/n) had to endure.
The said princess replied with a nod before turning her attention towards the Magi with teary eyes, giving (Y/n) a hug while thanking her which caught the Magi off guard by the sudden action.
Nevertheless, she appreciated the princess's gesture, patting Princess Dunya by the back, " Your welcome. "
Both of them stayed in the same position until Princess Dunya sense the discomfort from (Y/n), causing the princess to slightly raise an eyebrow before remembering the markings that manifest the Magi's body.
It immediately made Princess Dunya feel guilty, figuring it out that (Y/n) had gone through a lot of trouble to find a possible cure to save her from dying.
Quivering her lips into a thin line as she pulled away from the hug, placing her hands on (Y/n)'s shoulder, " Are you feeling well (Y/n)-san? " Princess Dunya stared at the said Magi with a worried expression.
(Y/n) was slightly widened her eyes before she quickly waved it off, " I'm fine. Thank you for asking, princess. " She told the princess, trying to sound convincing. However, it didn't seem to work on the princess as she could easily see through the Magi's white lie.
With that said, Princess Dunya was about to ask (Y/n) when she saw the Magi shook her head.
" Don't worry too much about me, princess. You have to focus on yourself first, " she assured the princess before (Y/n) stood up from her seat and walking out from the room without waiting for Princess Dunya to utter a word.

The Magi's legs immediately gave up on her, causing her to drop on her knees, ' I thought it wouldn't activate the curse if I only used it on one person! ' She thought to herself as her breathing pattern was starting to become abnormal.
(Y/n) then pressed her lips into a thin line, knowing that she can't remain on the same spot for too long if she didn't want the curse to spread rapidly.
(Y/n) didn't pay much attention to the markings as she used the wall as support while making her way back to her room. Until the markings that had imprinted on the Magi's skin started to burn, causing (Y/n) to feel the pain through her chest as if someone impaled her with a spear.
" Ack! " The Magi gasped in discomfort, falling onto her knees once again while clutching on her chest.
She gritted her teeth as she tried to push the throbbing pain from her chest before she has a sudden urge to cough. The Magi quickly covered her mouth and gave a harsh cough until she tastes the metallic taste of blood from her mouth, causing her eyes to widen, " W-what? " She mumbled in disbelief, staring at the blood on her stained sleeves.
" Is this what in meant in the text? " (Y/n) coughs between her words.
Unbeknown that Ja'far held a concerned expression after what he had seen.
He then walked towards the Magi while being wary not to frighten her, " Are you feeling well, (Y/n)-san? " He questioned her, placing his hand on the said Magi's shoulder, causing her whole body to go stiff.
' Crap! ' (Y/n) cursed in her head as she didn't expect to get caught by Ja'far out in the opening.
Pondering a way to make an excuse, " W-what do you mean by that? " She slightly stuttered while avoiding eye contact with Ja'far, making him frown.
