Magi : Her Majesty's Judgement || Reader Insert ||

『 Chapter III 』

Ever since Aladdin gain his consciousness after removing the fragments of the Dark Metal Vessel from the princess, her condition took a toll as it had become life-threatening and at the same time, nearly impossible to save her unless a miracle were to happen. The visitors who visited Princess Dunya, grew worried about her especially Aladdin who grew fond with the princess. 

Despite her life-threatening condition , they have no choice to wait for the princess's recovery while anticipating for a revelation that (Y/n) had spoken. 

As Aladdin was having a small sleepover with Alibaba and Morgiana, they told each other about their plans until Aladdin told his companions about his next trip to Magnostadt but, he wanted to travel there without either of them. The news made both Alibaba and Morgiana look surprised. 

" In that case, of course, we'll go too besides, we'll be bringing (Y/n) with us! " Alibaba said with a forced smile, glancing over the Fanalis next to him, " Right, Morgiana? "

" R-right. " 

" That won't be possible, " the young Magi interjected, causing both Alibaba and Morgiana to shift their attention towards him, seeing Aladdin holding a staff that used to belong to Baba from Kouga Clan, " I wanted to go to Magnostadt alone, no matter what. " Aladdin smiled before he continued to explain to his companions about his business for being in the enemy's territory. 

Meanwhile, the Magi was in her room as she went through all the forbidden book/scrolls after Athos told her about the existence of the forbidden archives that had been hidden inside the lantern staff. 

' There should be a spell that could help me save the princess! ' (Y/n) thought, pressing her lips into a thin line as she scans every word along with the smallest details. Athos, on the other hand, continued to bring out more stacks of books/scrolls while returning the other books/scrolls.

However, Athos stared at the Magi's delicate figure with a concerned expression. He, of course, respected (Y/n)'s determination to find the spell that could save Princess Dunya. Yet, at the same time, he's anxious that he would lose (Y/n) again including the other Magis, forcing them to wait for the Magi's revival who knows how long will it take. 

 ' I hope you know what you're doing, milady, ' Athos sighed heavily, shifting his gaze over the books/scrolls in his grasp.

Inside the headquarters, both Athos and Uraltugo were assisting Lady (Y/n) to sort out the documents that had been piling on her work desk. It was indeed tiring for Lady (Y/n) but, she's grateful that Athos and Uraltugo kept her company until one of the Palace Guards burst into her headquarters.

 " (Y/n)-sama! "

Both Athos and Uraltugo stopped at their tracks, glancing at the Palace Guard while they raise an eyebrow. Lady (Y/n), on the contrary, held a calm expression as she had her head tilted slightly, " What is it? " She asked him with a concerned tone, causing him to sweat with cold sweat. 

Lady (Y/n) patiently waited until the Palace Guard finally break the news to them, " S-someone knocked the guards who were guarding the Forbidden Archives, (Y/n)-sama! " 

" What?! Go and bring the other guards now, "  Athos ordered the Palace Guard, seeing him timidly replied with a nod before running out from Lady (Y/n)'s headquarters.

Athos rubs his forehead as he was annoyed while Uraltugo laughs nervously when Lady (Y/n) slams the quill pen against the table, causing them to flinch. They shift their attention towards the Ruler, seeing her (E/c) eyes that looked empty and at the same time, they could see anger lingering inside. It was rare for them to witness Lady (Y/n)'s calm yet, kind personality changed so drastically.
