August's POV
Chris invited me to the bowling alley that him, Tiffany and Jazmine were going to on their best friend night out. I was excited to go because I wanted to get to know shawty better but she was really stand-offish and she had her guard up. She wouldn't answer any questions I asked, she wouldn't smile or laugh at anything I said so I realized that somebody hurt her to the point where she doesn't want to let anybody else in but I'm going to break those walls down that she has up. Once we realized she left the bowling alley without letting us know we figured she went home so Chris told me her address and I headed over there hopefully she doesn't beat my ass.
Tiffany's POV
" Why are you here August?" I say
"I'm trying to get to know you better but you keep playing with me so let me in so we can talk." August said
" I don't want you to get to know me so you can leave." I said but instead of leaving he lightly pushed me out the way and entered my house he closed the door and grabbed my hand and walked me to my living room and sat down on the couch.
" So you obviously don't understand what I said at the door I don't want you to get to know me so you can leave."
"No see what we're going to do is talk and that's it so I'm going ask you questions and you answer and then you ask me questions Okay."
" Okay fine" I say
" So tell me why your giving me such a hard time getting to know you better?" August asked
I sighed and said " I'm sorry for being so mean to you it's just my ex from about 2 years ago my first boyfriend he basically only wanted me for sex but since I wouldn't give it to him he decided to have sex with two girls in my bed and I caught them and basically I beat all of there ass and then he hit me and choked me until I went unconscious and Chris and my brother found me unconscious and took me to the hospital. I was in the hospital for couple weeks in a coma, and I thank God everyday that I'm alive. So I don't need a man if their going to do that shit to me I can do bad by myself but I'm taking care of myself perfectly fine. So that's why I'm giving you a hard time." I say while wiping my tears. August hugs me and kisses my forehead.
"Tiffany I wouldn't do that to you I just want to get to know you better, take you out and treat you like the queen you are, I know you can take care of yourself but I want to be able to take care of you. Just let me take you out so I can show you I'm not like these little boys out here." August Said
Sniffling I said " I'll let you take me out August."
" Good, now let's get to know more about each other I have all night." August said
