Who do you like? [Makoto x Hajime x Shuichi]

Chapter 6

Shuichi's POV:

The next morning I was in class sitting quietly in my chair, waiting for Miss Yukizome to come in. It was rather quiet today which was strange, because Kaito and Kokichi normally fought every morning. Today, however, they weren't talking to each other. Perhaps it was Hajime's frustrated shouts that shut them up. It didn't really matter to me though, as long as they were quiet, I was happy.

Soon, Miss Yukizome entered and the lesson began. It was a typical, boring lesson that would happen in every school, just one subject that no body really cares about. Anyway, it was over sooner than I thought so I packed up my things and left. Today, I didn't go straight to my dorm. Instead, I walked to the school's garden. It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The scenery was stunning, I'm not surprised though, since this is Hope's Peak Academy after all. I found the perfect spot on the ground and sat down. The grass was soft and the sun's rays of light warmed me up. It felt nice. No one to disturb me and no one to annoy me.

Although, it was a little lonely. I wished that Hajime and Makoto were here with me. They would make it more enjoyable with their quiet banter about anything and everything. The thought of them made me giggle as a small blush spread across my cheeks. They really do like both of them. I've come to realise that as I've hung out with them over this past week. Its only been a few days, but I feel like I've known them for much longer. They probably don't feel the same way though. I mean, we can't all date, can we? It is possible, but I'm not sure how those two will react. They could lash out at me and call me gross, just like... what happened in middle school. I don't want it to happen again.

"Saihara-Kun! This is where you've been!" I looked up and saw Makoto running towards me. I blushed as I stood up quickly.
"Hinata-Kun and I were worried!" He said.
"S-Sorry..." I replied as I scratched the back of my neck nervously. Makoto looked around before smiling.
"You like it here?" He asked curiously as I nodded, "me too! Its heart-warming in a way."
"True... w-what did you need me for?" I asked.
"Nothing really, we were just concerned," answered the brunette with a smile. I nodded understandingly and I gazed at the boy's face. He was really pretty. His green eyes were really beautiful, his hair was fluffy and soft, and his skin was clear like porcelain.
"Saihara-Kun? You're staring at me..." said Makoto as pink dusted his cheeks. I blushed a bright cherry red as I looked away and lowered my hat.
"Uh... sorry..." I said, embarrassedly. Makoto giggled, took off my hat and looked me in the eyes. He moved a small piece of my hair out of my eyes and smiled lovingly, making my blush increase.

"Naegi! You could have texted me and told me you found Saihara!!" I looked behind Makoto and saw Hajime walking towards us.
"Sorry, Hinata-Kun! I forgot..." replied the short boy with a nervous chuckle. The taller boy ruffled his hair and smiled.
"What're you two even doing?" Asked Hajime curiously. My blush got even worse so I snatched my hat back from Makoto and put it on.
"S-Sorry to trouble y-you guys," I said as I began walking away. I heard them call for me, but my walking turned to running. I ran as fast as I could towards the school. I entered the dorm, ran into my bedroom, and locked the door. I sat down on the floor and began crying. I have to pretend to not like them. It's so hard though. I don't want them to hate me.

Hajime's POV:

Makoto and I chased Shuichi. Why was he acting like that? Is he okay? I slammed the dorm door open and ran towards his room.
"Saihara? Are you okay? What happened?" I asked as I knocked on the door loudly.
"Please, Saihara-Kun! We wanna make sure that you're alright!" Exclaimed Makoto worriedly. We heard shuffling from inside.
"You'll hate me..." said Shuichi, slightly muffled from behind the door.
"We would never hate you. We already had this discussion with Naegi!" I replied. The dark haired boy went silent for a minute.
"Are you sure...?" He asked, less gloomily.
"Of course!" Answered Makoto.

"I like you... both of you."
