SKYE'S POV: "Skye, for a long time, your mother and I have been debating on what to get you for your birthday.. And last month, Madison was kind enough to mention to us what tonight was..." my dad trailed off and handed me and envelope. Theone thing that automatically popped into my head was the One Direction concert tonight that I was dying to get tickets to, but I had failed to do so. I grabbed it out of his hands and before I could open it, my mom stopped me. "Now telling by the smile on your face, you already know what it is. But let me say something. We are leaving today at 3, and we will be gone until next Saturday night. You and Madison will be here all by yourselves for the entire spring break, so we expect for you to be on your best behavior." I nodded, and she cued for me to open the present. I anxiously ripped the envelope open, with a smile do big that my cheeks hurt. I pulled out the card, read it first just to make my parents happy, and then looked at the tickets in my hand. TWO FRONT ROW TICKETS TO THE ONE DIRECTION CONCERT! "OMG OMG I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!" I started screaming. I couldn't believe this. "Oh, and you and Madison don't have to go to school today. Do whatever you girls need to do before the concert" my dad said, laughing. I looked at Madison and we fangirled so hard in front of my parents, they just looked at each other like we were possessed. "Seriously, thank you Mom and Dad! This means the world to me!" I said as I hugged them. Madison got up and hugged them too, "Yeah, Thank you Mom and Dad!" we all laughed. I looked at Madison and said, "well, let's go shopping!!" and we sprinted out the door.
