Chapter 4

Marinette woke up, early for once. She got ready and went downstairs for breakfast. "Looks like you're going to be early to school, for once." Tom chuckles. Marinette laughs, "Yeah, I guess so."

After eating her breakfast, Marinette waves to her parents, and begins to walk to school. When Marinette reaches to her school, she's about 5 minutes early.

When Marinette walks into the classroom, the first thing she heard was, "Looks like Mari-trash is early for once!" Chloe laughed. Marinette saddened, but didn't say anything to her.

"Nice going on coming early, Marinette." Alya smiles. "Thanks, Alya. My alarm actually woke me up." Marinette says.

Eventually, the teacher arrives, along with Adrien. Adrien sits down next to Marinette and says, "During free period, do you want to practice the song with the piano in the theater?" He says, smiling. "T-that would be great!" Marinette says, sheepishly smiling.

Marinette and Adrien focus on the lesson, because they don't want to get into trouble.

Once it was free period, Marinette and Adrien made their way to the piano. "Are you ready?" Asked Adrien. She nods her head slightly.

[Adrien]

At the end of the song, Adrien and Marinette both look into each other's eyes. Adrien slowly starts leaning in, and Marinette notices. She then slowly starts leaning in, too. Just right about when their lips would meet, someone walks in the theater, making Marinette and Adrien turn their heads and pretend nothing happened.

"Hey guys! How's the song going?" Alya says in excitement. Marinette rubs the back of her head, and sheepishly says, "Y-yeah! We j-just finished o-our first time singing it t-together." Marinette turns a light shade of pink.

"Okay, but let's go! Free period is about to end, and we don't wanna be late!" Alya states. Both Marinette and Adrien sit up from the piano, walking with Alya to class.
