The story here takes place around the same time after the Smash characters except Kirby were apparently killed by Galeem one of the main antagonists of the World of Light Story for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Right after Galeem unleashed its light to destroy many of the Smash characters worlds among the worlds that were destroyed were Dragon Ball Z, RWBY, Akame Ga Kill, Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, Date A Live, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Kingdom Hearts, Fate and Team Fortress 2 Worlds.
Luckily Beerus and Whis were alerted of the situation the Smash characters were having as Fox was able to contact them about it before the confrontation and were able to rescue those who were almost vaporized. Goku, Ruby, Vegeta and the others would then be sent to Kirby's location to help the Star Warrior to find and free their friends while encountering puppet versions of the Smash characters and their friends along the way and fighting many of the dark and light spirits created by Galeem and Dharkon.
Keep in mind however this will not be part of the main Crossworlds story arc but rather a spinoff even though I haven't finished the CrossWorlds story yet anyways what do you guys think?
