What fascinates me in horror stories is not about how they were horrified, nor what lies beneath the darkness but what lies beneath the memories and the reason why.

Why the "ghost" must have haunted the scenery, why must the person who allegedly haunts died.

It's not what scared must be felt, but the sadness within.

Simply because it's always the sadness that must have overflowed within them to take such an action,  to haunt, to avenge, to feel the justice.

They must have been longing so much.

They must have been so sad.

They must have been so lonely.

They must have suffered alot.

They must have longed the attention of someone else's comfort.

They must have regretted to have forseen the fact that their tragedy must have happened.

It's just so sad to think about what must have happened to them.

To feel the way they must have felt.

To feel the sadness that had taken over them.

To feel the injustice.

To feel the betrayal.

To feel the way they must have longed for happiness.

To imagine the happy ending that must have been.
