1️⃣. NO GODMODDING
If you are unfamiliar with the term, Godmodding is when a character has no limit, boundaries, or weaknesses. They can not be harmed in any way but can kill an entire army in a single strike. This makes it unfair to the other roleplayers and takes the fun from the RP itself. For one, every character has flaws. Even Superman, who is the most OP DC character in history, has a weakness. In this RP book, your character must have at least one. If you do not like it, tough luck.2️⃣. NO SMUT
If you and your RP partner want your characters' relationship to that level(that is, if you even develop one in the first place), I won't stop you. But PLEASE take it to PM. I would like to keep my innocence3️⃣. NO TXT TALK
I cannot stress this enough. Even if your character is texting another on their phone, use full-length sentences to get your message across.4️⃣. NO MARY SUES/GARY STUES
No character is perfect. As I have previously stated on #1, your character must have at least ONE weakness/flaw. No flaws, no plot.5️⃣. NO CONTROLLING OTHER PEOPLE'S CHARACTERS
Now, for this rule, I will make a slight exception for those who have a specific "Gift." Here's an example of a roleplay with a character who has the "Gift":EXAMPLE #1
ROLEPLAYER #1 - Adam glared at the back of Joseph's head. He hated him. He hated him with every fiber in his body. The boy's lips curled into a sinister grin as an idea popped into his head. Without a moment's hesitation, Adam began to recite the incantation. "[Insert incantation here]!" He chanted as he begins to attempt to take control of Joseph's body. Now here's an example of a roleplay with a character who DOESN'T have the "Gift":
EXAMPLE #2
ROLEPLAYER #1 - Adam glared at the back of Joseph's head. He hated him. He hated him with every fiber in his body. The boy's lips curled into a sinister grin as an idea popped into his head. Without a moment's hesitation, Adam breaks into his astral form, his body collapsing into the alleyway. He runs towards the unsuspecting male and forces himself into his body, proceeding to possess his very being.See the difference? Stick to your powers' conditions and restrictions. That way, we don't end up confused. The rule also prohibits killing another person's character without their permission, attacking said person's character without giving them a chance to do anything, and saying where they got hit. Your roleplay partner's OC has a choice to either GET HIT or DODGE an attack. However, you MUST take some form of damage at some point if you do get into a fight.
6️⃣. NO "EVERY FANTASY CREATURE IN EXISTENCE" HYBRIDS
I've had my fair share of people who love to mash up every single fantasy creature that exists in the fantasy world. The thing is, it makes your character look incredibly sloppy, and you look lazy. Try to put a little more work into it.7️⃣. NO BULLYING
If I catch anybody making rude comments in my RP book, you'll be packing your bags and getting out of here. I do not tolerate it at all and will not put up with that shit.8️⃣. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR CHARACTERS
You may create up to five characters if you so choose. However, if you do, then make sure you keep track of them all. We don't want you to make five characters then abandon the third one you created. If you have a good reason to get rid of that character, I will make an exception.9️⃣. HAVE FUN!
Make new friends, create your own story, and have lots and lots of fun!
