Part 4

((Y/N)'s POV

The worst part of flying for me was take-off and landing. It was horrible for me cause I always had this fear that something would go wrong and we would crash. I never really understood why I didn't have those thoughts while in the air but for some reason that part of the journey wasn't bad for me at all. But here I was, flying alone for the first time terrified and Corbyn wasn't here to hold my hand and tell me numerous times that the pilot knows what he's doing and that everything was going to be okay. I plugged my headphones into my phone – no airpods for this girl – and settled for the next best thing, which was listening to our song - Best Part.

As the music and H.E.R's voice blasted into my ears I was brought back to that night – the night our view of each other changed in a second and we realized there were more than friendly feelings between us. When looking in each other's eyes was no laughing matter, when we danced close for the first time, when we kissed – when I knew he was the one. And now here I was; alone on a plane crying because I was a horny idiot and fucked up one of the best things to ever happen to me. That's how I spent the entirety of the plane ride; listening to sings reminding me of our good times and looking at photos we took together.

When we landed I made sure to be one of the first ones out of the plane – I just needed to see Skylar and have someone who would support me even though I fucked up big time.

"Aww baby, your eyes are so puffy" Skylar said as I ran into her arms in the arrival hall.

"Yeah it's been a 16 hour flight and I spent every second crying" I sniffled back.

"I'm so sorry (Y/N), have some chocolate" she said and pulled a cute gift box with caramel filled chcoclates out from her bag.

"I love you" I smiled slightly and grabbed it from her before we headed to her car.

When we got home we made popcorn and decided to just have a chill evening watching movies to relax.

"So, I need to know what happened (Y/N)" Skylar said as we sat down on the couch.

"Yeah well it's a long story umm and yeah but here we go" I sighed and began telling her everything from the night of truth or dare up until now.
