The Last Luna In Line

Chapter 3

I look up at the sky gazing at the twinkling stars. How the fuck did the alpha of the pack we have hated for years be my mate.
Well it doesn't matter cause he is perfect for you- Nina
Yeah but still i dont want a mate i dont want the thrown i just want to be alone Nina.
I can not be the mate of another alpha making me his luna. I will not be stomped around like many other alphas have done to their lunas. Rescue them from a kidnapping, give them the world act like they are madly in love, and then end up leaving them. Heart broke and heartless.
_FLASHBACK-
I saw my 4th oldest sister angel running into my room with tears down her face crying, " what ever you do, do not get a mate they just want to take you away as their maid and sex machine. Please, promise me you'll make things different." Before i could say a word Mathew her mate slammed the door open causing us to scream and yank her out of my room. I tried fighting for her running after her but my oldest sister angel held me back. That's when i blacked out.
-END OF FLASH BACK-
That night was the night i had found out i black out when I get angry. Which my father says I get from my mothers anger issues. I had given my sister Ariana the biggest scar on her forearm.
Why did my life leads to these events and why did it lead to the alpha of the pack that is our enemy to be sleeping in the room right next to mine.

-24 hours ago-

"Mate." I heard someone growl. And i am praying it isn't me. Then scent hit me so strong, his aura is more powerful then a regular, it caused my beta and delta to bow unconsciously. But me I with stood it. I looked at him dead in the eye and said, "No."
he seemed shock at my response as if expecting me to run into his arms begging to be his and for him to take me. I'm not fucking stupid.
These thoughts angered me that my vision turned blood deep red, " I'm not your mate, mates are soulmates that are compatible. You don't know me so don't go around claiming me as YOURS. I'm the alpha of this pack and nothing else but another alpha to YOU."
I couldn't read his face once I said those words, he seemed a bit confused, " I think you have your title wrong you're a female. Your the Luna without an alpha you are just a Luna of the pack."
I felt myself growl and almost blacking out, my first instinct was to attack him FOR DISRESPECTING ME. I launched towards him growling close to forming into a wolf but my delta, Ana, held me back. " GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE ROOM YOU MUTT, GET OUT BEFORE I RIP YOUR THROAT OUT. WITH MY TEETH."

Once he was out of the room my body dropped at ease. I fell to the ground as if I hadn't been able to breathe. " Ma you can't lash out like that, you know that he can call for a war at any time." Ana had stated calmly. "He wont. I'm his fucking mate so my people are now his people."
Liam walked around and crouched down next to ana, grabbed her and then looked at me , " does that mean you're going to take your title as alpha of this pack?"
I looked up at him with tears eyes and whimpered, " yes"
I stood up weakly and stumbled, " get him back in here and I want to speak to him privately"
They both nodded and walked out holding hands. They were always so compatible for each other.

Right after they left Ace walked back in and stood at the door observing my reaction as I finish my glass of whiskey.
" I want to apologize for the outburst, it's just legally and by blood line I'm an alpha not a Luna. So when someone call me a Luna I usually get ticked off. But I'm not sorry for calling you a mut."
He chuckled at my pathetic excuse of an apology, " understood alpha,  never was my intention to disrespect you I can here to settle things and fix what has been put on hold for three generations."
I shivered when he stated my title, and the way he spoke was so formal. It sent my wolf to submit. " yes, please sit and we can discuss the terms."
He sat down across the table from me and stated, " I want to become your ally not enemy we have bigger fish to fry like blood suckers (vampires) and soul keepers (witches) I just want to be able to count on our nearest pack in case of any danger."
I looked at him and decided to challenge his wolf. " if I agree what would I get out of this?"
" Our protection as well as anything you ask for" he smirked as he stated" but in order for us to become allies we have to go to the counsel and present this information to let the word spread. Which means I would have to stay in your pack house."
" what about your pack"
"My beta has it covered." He seemed like he had everything planned out.
I mind-linked the guard outside the door to come in , " I need a spare bedroom for ace and who ever he brought along."
" I didn't bring anyone I wanted to come alone to show that I trusted you wouldn't harm me."
I gazed into his eyes and saw sincerity. I was one of the few that have been able to extend my abilities to see the emotions through people. But only a few chosen alphas get these talents.
I got up and stood at the door, " I hope you enjoy you stay, Alpha." And walked out closing the door hearing a low growl come from the one and only alpha.
