Jungkook stared at the messages, by the way they spoke it looked like the two were dating but nope. They were friends with benefits.
It was Taehyung's idea, the two had been out of relationships for so long and they were so pent up and frustrated they ended up talking about it while drinking many bottles of soju. This lead to them aggressively fucking on Jungkook's bed and of course Jungkook was so scared he had ruined their friendship. The two were so close and he didn't want this to mess that up, he cherished what they had...even if deep down he felt differently towards Taehyung. He knew from only weeks of knowing him, that his heart beat differently for Taehyung. Luckily, the older missed all his blushing and shyness. But after so many years, the idea of them being together was something Jungkook only dreamed about but that night changed things.
"Good morning Kooks." He didn't seem awkward at all and that made Jungkook silently sigh in relief. "Hey hyungie." The two were tangled, still naked, in the sheets and Taehyung sighed almost happily, Jungkook thought. "Hey Kooks?" The latter hummed. "Should we..How would you feel about being friends with benefits?"
The younger was shocked. Was this a step in the right direction? Was this what Jungkook wanted..? Just sex and nothing else with his all time crush? "I mean..neither of us have had a relationship in a while and we need some form of release every now and then and you can't lie..we have great sex." He chuckled. Jungkook ended up agreeing, he would honestly do anything for Taehyung. This continued for months, the two would still hang out as best friends and watch movies, go out drinking, party with friends..but occasionally they would connect gazes or share a long heated kiss and end up in Jungkook's bed again. Not everyone in their friend group knew about their friendship benefits, Jimin did and so did Jin..but it was almost obvious they had something going on between them. Jungkook believed this "friends with benefits" could really turn into something, his feelings for Taehyung were growing more than he thought they could. Jimin teased him, saying he was in love and although he wanted to deny it..could he? "I'm going to tell him." Jungkook sat opposite Jimin in the latter's house. "What?!" Jimin almost spat out his coffee and Yoongi walked passed, grimacing and handing him a tissue. "I have to Jimin...I can't lie to him anymore." Jungkook had his feelings bottled up for too long and he hated not being able to share sweet kisses and hugs. He didn't even know if Taehyung felt the same way but Jungkook couldn't keep sleeping with him and only going to sleep with a 'goodnight' instead of 'I love you' or 'sweet dreams'. He wanted Taehyung to call him baby and hold him close. "Good luck Kookie, I know Taehyung feels differently towards you otherwise he would never suggest being friends with benefits." Jungkook decided to call him maybe ask him to meet up. As he clicked on the contact name, Jimin signalled to put it on speaker. "Kookie?" "Hey Hyungie..." Jungkook was nervous for some reason. "You sound nervous Kook..you know if you wanna fuck you can just ask." Jungkook stuttered as Jimin tried so hard not to laugh. Taehyung chuckled on the other line. "I'm kidding but seriously what's up?" Jungkook inhaled deeply. "I have something to tell you..so are you free tonight?" Taehyung replied 'yes' and stated they should meet at Jungkook's place around 7. "Actually I have something to tell you too, so this will be fun!" Taehyung said excitedly. Jungkook was confused but also curious..maybe Taehyung felt the same way.
