No one's pov

Gale didn't know what to say."I'm sorry." She said holding lily's hands.

Lily smiles amidst her tears. "No don't be. I hope you won't ever feel sorry for me. I hate it."

"Okay, I promise." Gale lifts her left hand above her head. "Scouts honor."

"Are you even sure you were a scout, it's the right hand. And you're not even a guy. Is scouts not for like boys only?"

Then Gale suddenly started laughing loudly.
"Why are you laughing?" Lily asked her before joining

"And why are you laughing." Gale said still laughing.

After few minutes, their laughter died down.

"Seriously, why were you laughing."

"Nothing, just wanted to make you laugh and it worked. didn't it?"

Lily nodded. "Thanks Gale."

"How could you guys not notice someone is standing here." The voice startled them both.

"Collin, are you trying to kill us in a hospital?" Gale screamed when she saw him leaning on the wall beside the entrance with a big traveling bag dropped beside him.

"Is that a way of saying you are happy to see me or you missed me?"

Gale stood up and half walked, half jogged towards Collin and she threw her hands around her neck. "You know I missed you."

"Nice to see you lil sis." He removed her hands from his neck "And don't suffocate me, You don't want me on a hospital bed do you."

She smiled as she released her hands.
"You've been here, since how long?"

"Since when you pretended to be a scout and who is she?"

"I almost killed her, I hit her with my car."

Collin leaned towards Gale and whispered loudly enough for Lily to hear. "She's crazy don't you think?"

"Why?" Gale didn't whisper.

"You should be in court with the judge sentencing you to maybe two years? But she was laughing about you faking being a scout"

"You know I can hear you right?" Lily's voice sounded from across the room.

Gale slapped Collin on the shoulder.

"Ouch!!!!!! That's painful you know."

"Try to be nice will ya, it's your first time meeting her. And you also have to thank her for having you not come to prison to say greetings."

Collin moved closer to Lily. "Thanks miss......." He trailed off.

"Lily." Lily answered abruptly.

"Yes Lily....Thanks for not allowing my sister  grow old in a cell."

He extended his right arm for a handshake but Lily folded her arms across her chest.

"Right! So can I thank you over dinner? There's a restaurant just two blocks away from here."

"No thank you, I love the hospital food" Lily replied almost immediately.

"You see what I'm saying Gale? Who likes hospital food."

"Leave her alone Collin, Lily let's just take his offer. I've been craving steak lately and their steak is incredible"

Gale ran to Lily's bed, sat beside her and made a puppy eyes.
"Please.....for me!"

Lily conceded "Okay, it's a date then." She turned to Gale. "You looked so much like a puppy, I couldn't let that pass."

"Then I will leave you girls to it, Came here straight from the airport. Gotta unpack." Collin headed to the entrance, he picked up his traveling bag and headed for the entrance.

"Okay, thanks for dropping by Collin and see you later in the evening" Gale said with a slightly raised voice so that Collin could hear.

Collin waved his hands without turning back, he opened the door and went out of the hospital room.

Lily turned to Gale. "I hate him already, he thinks he's funny."

"He's so nice when you get to know him, and he really has a great sense of humor."

Lily smiled. "I can tell you love him so much."

"Yea....Since our mum died, he comforted me. Dad buried himself in work so he was the one available to me...he was like a brother, a friend, a father and a boyfriend. He always looks out for me. You what Lily? I wouldn't trade him for anything else in the world."

"That's so cool of him. Tell me about him."

Lily's pov

As we got to the restaurant, we ordered steak with red wine. Since I didn't have any clothes to wear, I made do with my hospital clothes.

"You look good in those hospital clothes."

I groaned in my head again. Here we go again.

"Stop it Collin, you trying to say that she belongs to the hospital." Gale said with steak in her mouth. She looked funny.

I bursted out laughing and immediately choked on my food. Gale immediately reached for the glass cup beside me and she stretched it to me. I collect the cup and I gulped down its contents.

"Thank you." I mouthed to Gale.

"Why did you laugh, was it me saying you look good in those hospital clothes or Gale saying you belonged to the hospital."

I eyed him as I dropped held my fork and knife really tightly than before.

Collin eyes grew wide. "You are not eating me right? Are you?"

I released my hands, I sighed closing my eyes. I opened my eyes. "I'm just going to let you off the hook because you fed me with this delicious food"

I stood up abruptly. "Thanks for the food, I think I need to go back to the hospital room, my head hurts"

Gale looked up to meet my gaze with concern "Your head hurts, then we should go to your room then"

Gale stood from her seat, she faced Collin. "Thanks for the food Collin, I'm going with Lily"

Collin looked up at us, he smiled. "Then who's going to finish all this" He gestured to the half eaten steak and half drunk wine glasses on the table.

"Didn't you hear her? Her head hurts."

"I will just wait for you so that we can go home together then."

"I'm sleeping with her."

Collin sighed. He leaned on the table after gesturing to both us. "Are you both married or something?"

"You are the one that should get a girlfriend Collin"

"I think I got one already" He focused his gaze on me. It took me a while to understand what he said.

I scoffed. "In your dreams." Then I turned to Gale. "Meet me when you're through." Then I turned towards the exit door.
