CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX

~ McKayla's POV ~

It's been four months since Taylor and I have first started dating, almost five, since our anniversary is tomorrow. Honestly it hasn't felt like five months. The tour is just flying by, and all I can think, is that we will be heading home for two months before our next one. Taylor only lives three hours away from me and I want it to be closer, but my mom said he could stay with us for a week or so while we were home. Now I just have to see if I could go there for a little bit too.

We were on the plane back home now, his hand intertwined with mine as I started to fall asleep. We had departed about a half hour ago, and I was beat.

"Tired much?" Taylor played, smirking at me.

I nodded my head  as I rested it against his shoulder. I could feel his gaze burning into the top of my head, so I looked up at him, a small yawn escaping my lips. His beautiful eyes and his perfect braces.

"What are you looking at?" I asked lazily, my head falling back onto his shoulder.

He started meddling with my fingers in his hand.

Instead of answering my question, he just sighed and answered with a question. "Why are you so beautiful? And don't say that you aren't because you are." He said, still fiddling with my fingers

I sat there, not answering--- because I know I'm not that beautiful --- but when he says I am, it makes me feel like I am.

I reached my lips pressing them gently against his cheek. I then closed my eyes and fell asleep, against Taylor's warm body.

I woke up to Taylor shaking me lightly. "Babe, we're about to land." He said as I cracked my eyes and blinked the sleep out of them, sitting up and stretching my arms over my head.

After we had gotten off the plane and grabbed our luggage, I called my mom to see if she was here. She was about ten minutes away, because traffic was a little bit backed up. Once I hung up, I sighed and plopped down on the bench by the pick up doors.

"My mom's not going to be here for ten minutes. Traffic was backed up." I said looking up at Taylor as he smiled back at me, his green beanie bringing out a hint of green in his brown eyes.

"At least I'm here with you." He said, taking the seat next to me and grabbing my hand in his.

"True..." I sat there for a little before I said anything else, "The tour flew by so fast, I can't believe it's already been five months."

He sighed, "I know... especially since I have been with you... it seems like it went even faster." Taylor leaned over and pressed his lips to my cheek.

" Yeah..." I said tilting my head down and sighing before finishing. "... I know. I feel exactly the same." I looked out the window to see my mom pulling up in front of the pick-up doors. "Well my mom's here... you know you didn't have to wait for me." I said standing up his hand still in mine, while I grabbed my bags and walked to my car.

" I know... but I wanted to, and when I sent a text to my mom, she said it was fine. My doors aren't that far of a walk either babe." He said flashing metal.

I smiled as my mom walked over to me, and gave me a hug. " I've missed you so much honey." She then turned to Taylor shaking his hand. "You must be Taylor... I've heard a lot about you. I'm Jessica Young, McKayla's mother." She said with a smile. She looked so much better than the last time I had seen her.

"It's nice to meet you Mrs.---." Taylor started, but was cut off by my mother.

"You can just call me Allison... Allison Young... well it was nice to meet you Taylor, but we better be on our way, and seeing that you probably have to go as well." She said walking back over to the other side hopping in the car.
