Maddie's POV
Dance was over for the day and everyone was going home. I held my mums hand as we walked up to Abby ready to ask her what was going on.
"Um, hi Abby" my mum said quietly. Abby looked around. "Yeah" she replied, my mum nodded and continued speaking "why has Maddie been treated different this week?" Abby rolled her eyes, "do you want my honest answer?" Mum and I both nodded our heads.
"Maddie used to be an amazing dancer" Abby started, "but that was last season, this season she's lost her talent, her face has no emotions, her moves are sloppy, she acts like she doesn't care."
Maddie's POV
"Of course I care!" I shouted, "then show me" Abby whispered, "cause right now, you're useless."
I let the words sink in. Bad idea. Am I really that bad? I looked at myself in the nearby mirror disgusted at what I saw, Abby was right.I ran out of the room tears streaming down my face, I ran into the car park and saw Abby roll her eyes, but I didn't care, I never wanted to set foot in that dance studio ever again.
My mum came out and unlocked the car, we were both silent the whole way home, I guess we both had nothing to say.
The second my mum opened the front door I ran up into my room and collapsed on my bed, just as my phone vibrated.
'New Facebook Comment' the notification said. I opened up Facebook eager to see the new comment. The comment was about one of the dance photos I posted.
'Maddie's so ugly' one said.
'I heard she's not Abby's favourite anymore, about time, she can barely dance.'
'Horrible at what she does, horrible, absolutely horrible.'
I chucked my phone across my room and quietly sobbed into my pillow.
A/N
I hope you enjoyed this chapter! By the way I think Maddie is a beautiful, amazing dancer in real life, but this story has to have a problem. :) please vote and comment.
