"Luna if I have to call your name again we about to have a problem!" I huffed getting clothes out on my bed. I heard little feet running in the bathroom , I turned my head and met with big innocent brown eyes . My face broke into a smile seeing her wrapped in a small towel with her lip poked out .

"Mommy do I have to go to school?" She whined walking up to me and I met her halfway picking her up.

"For the millionth time boog yes , but remember we're going to hang out with your aunties and uncles later so be good for mommy ."

"We having a party?"

"Boo just a little hangout, I didn't really want one for my birthday." It really didn't feel the same with Dillyn not being here. Yes they still have him in jail, with him not wanting to confess they gave him 10-15 years. But there's a possibility that he could get out early according to his lawyer. I make sure Luna knows who he is and that he loves her unconditionally.

"Happy berfdaaayyy." Her sweet voice broke me out of my thoughts and I smiled kissing her cheeks making her laugh. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me , she's my beautiful distraction from all of that .

"Thanksss boog you're so sweeet ." She squealed as I tickled her before helping her get dressed for school. I would've let her stay home but I was going to see D today, and he refuses to let her see him in that environment. So I respect his wishes and kept it that way, but they have talked on the phone countless times and I can already tell she's a daddy's girl.

"Waiiittt where's my present little girl?" She glanced at me and giggled.

"Uncle Corey wants me to give it to you later ."

"What you get me?"

"Issa secret." I played like I was sad and she sighed .

"Can't tell youuuuu." She whined and I folded my arms.

"Fine." My phone started vibrating and I looked over to see Rose calling me. I answered after I told Luna to put her shoes on.

"Hello?"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS I LOVE YOU SO MUUCCHH !" I took the phone from my ear laughing.

"Don't get Luna hype , it's you and Ray's fault she like yelling ." She laughed on the other end making me frown because she didn't even deny it .

"Thank you though , what y'all got going on today?"

"Well we got some errands to do but we should be done by the time we all get together later ." Before I could respond Luna grabbed my phone .

"Auntie Roseeeeee !" She yelled out and I shook my head walking out to the kitchen letting them talk. I grabbed a bottle of water and drunk it before checking the time.

"Alright boog we gotta head out so you won't be late!" On cue I heard her little shoes hit against the floor and she gave me my phone.

"Auntie Rose said she'll call you later ." I nodded as we walked to the door and I picked up her little book bag in one hand and and she grabbed my other one as we head out to my car.

Pulling up to the school and glancing around at the people , I nod to myself because everything seemed okay. With all the things that had happened in these past years I'm always aware of my surroundings. I get out and help my baby get out the car and grabbed her hand as we walked inside . Immediately hearing so many kids talking and yelling , I used to hate all this noise but being a mom has me immune to it .
