Kaycee's POV:

I woke up the next morning to the smell of eggs and bacon.
I stretched my limbs out and stood up, as I made my way to the kitchen I placed my hair into a messy ballerina bun.

I was happy to say it was the weekend again, I saw Aunt May making breakfast and I sat down at the table.

"Morning sweetheart, how'd you sleep?"

"Honestly, better then ever. What about yo-"

I was rudely interrupted by the ferocious sound of someone banging on the door.

I looked at Aunt May concerned and I stood up and looked out the window and saw my mother standing there while my father knocked on the door.

"Who is it Kaycee?"

"It's my parents, I'm gonna call Gwen."

"Okay I'll answer the door, go to Peter's room and stay there."

I nod and grabbed my few things that were in the living room and ran straight into Peter's room, closed and door and dialed Gwen's number.

"Hello?"

"Gwen, it's my parents. Get your dad and yourself down here ASAP!"

"What's going on?"

"Just do it please! They are being crazy."

"Okay dad said we'll be there in 10 minutes."

I hung up and jumped when I heard someone clear their throat behind me.

"Oh! Sorry Peter," I say with a small laugh.

"What are you doing in my room?"

"Uh, Aunt May sent me in here. Will you go down there and make sure my parents don't do anything to her?"

He nods and leaves.

After what seemed like seconds of Peter going downstairs I heard yelling and something break.

I ran down the stairs and saw the glass from the outside door broken and my dad yelling at Aunt May.

"What the hell is going on!" I exclaim

"Kaycee Ann Bolton, you are going to get yourself proper and get your things together and you are coming home now." My mom ordered

I shook my head
"No, I'm not."

"What did you just say? That is not how you speak to your mother."

"You guys may have conceived me and raised me for a small part of my life but you guys are not my parents now. You guys weren't even there for me when I was on my near deathbed."

"We were busy! We knew you would be-"

My father was interrupted by the sirens of a cop car and I looked out the window and saw Gwen and George. I smile and felt myself relax some.

"You called George?!" My mother screeched

I nod and pushed passed her and ran towards George and went straight into his arms.

"Kaycee are you okay? Gwen said it was an emergency."

"It is, mom and dad are trying to force me to stay home and quit Oscorp and stop associating with the Parkers. They broke Aunt May's door, they are yelling and screaming at us, and it's getting to be too much."

He nods and tells Gwen to come with us so we can get my things and put it in the patrol car, and that's what we did as her dad spoke with Aunt May and my parents.
After Gwen and I grabbed my last two bags, we walked out and saw my parents being put into the back of a second patrol car and once the door closed they were gone.
