Chapter one
"That'll be $15.98" says the clerk, smiling at AnnaClaire. Anna smiles generously handing the clerk a $20, "Keep the change". She grabs her bag, making her way towards the door. She quickly pushes the door aside not noticing the man that's about to walk in. She drops her bags looking at the guy she just collided with. "I am so sorry" as they both reach for the bag on the floor. It's as if they were in unison with one another. "Well, uh, are you alright" asks the guy, handing her back her bag. "Yeah, no it's fine!" says Anna, cheeks red from embarrassment. "I better get going, thank you for picking up my bags". "Oh, of course! Well, see you around." AnnaClaire speed walks out of the store, she sighs "UGH, I should of got his number.. or his name! ugh, whatever." as she continues on home she gets a text from her best friend Colbi. "Hey! Are you going to Grants party tonight?" Anna ignores it, reaching in her bag for the house key "Where did I put that stupid key?" She says to herself, right as she was about to bang on the door her brother Parker opens the door. "Thank you" says Anna. "Yeah whatever" her brother mumbles, Anna runs up the stairs to her room, shuts the door, drops her bag down then falls on her bed. *ring ring* it's Colbi. Anna answers, "HEEY! Did you get my text??" Colbi shouts. "Yeah I did bu-" Colbi talks over her "Yeah.. Um are you coming over not?!? Please! This new guy will be there.. I hear he's hot!". Anna grunts "Fine! I'll go okay?! I'll go!! *laughs* what time?", "YAY! 7;30, be there or be square!" Colbi hangs up. Anna jumps up from her bed then looks at her phone, it's already 7;00. She busts open her closet door to find her red short tight fitting dress "Perfect" she says to herself "Now where's my push up bra..." as she scans her room looking for it, "Found it!" She puts on red lip stick to compliment her red dress, mascara, eyeliner and blush. (Anna is quite the makeup artist) She curls her hair and heads out the door, she looks at her phone 7;21. "Good thing Grant lives 4 houses away" Anna thinks to herself. Anna starts walking down the block only to see 10 cars in front of Grant's house already, Her love/hate friend Jenna Knickerbocker yells "ANNNAAA!!" from one of the cars, Anna yells "Hey Jen!" She finally gets to Grant's house music was blasting and it was crowded. "Anna! You look great" Says Max Lyons "Thank you Max! I tried haha" Colbi runs up to her and gives her a big hug, Anna can smell the alcohol on her. "Hey babe, so glad you can make it". "Me too! Come do a shot with me?" Anna says to Colbi, "You know it? Wooohoo!". They walk over to the bar in Grant's kitchen, Colbi pours two shot glasses of vodka. "Okay.. 1 2 3 GO!" say's Anna, they both chug down the vodka. "Oh Vodka, how I love you, I'm going to go dance. Wanna come?" Says Colbi. "No, not now! I'm going to have a few more drinks" Anna shouts, Colbi walks away. Time passes, Anna is on her 5th drink now. A guy with brown hair, a plaid sweater with jeans and converse walks up to the bar, Anna doesn't pay any mind to him but suddenly she looks from the coner of her eye, "Holy shit! IS that the guy from the store today?!" She says in her head, she takes another look, Anna's eye widen. "Oh my god, it is". The guy gets a beer then sits down next to Anna. Sean Flores the biggest douche bag of 11th grade walks up to them, grabs a beer, walks away, then stops and walks back. and says "Oh, Anna did you meet Flynn yet?" pointing to the guy sitting next to her, "He's new to the school and the town." Sean says again slurring his words. "Hah yeah! Me and Flynn here met today at the grocery store!" Anna says with energy. Flynn looks at her "Oh yeah, that was you. Nice seeing you here" Flynn says trying to shout over the music. "I'll leave you two to get too know each other" Sean winks at Flynn then walks away. Suddenly Flynn's phone rang "Hello?? Hello? Is everything alright? Okay, I'll be home in a mintue" Flynn says worried. "Is... everything okay? Says Anna. "Yes... no, I'm sorry I have to go" and he walks away, "I wonder what happened" Anna says looking confused. But before she can make it too Colbi everyone hears "POLICE EVERYONE STAY WHERE YOU ARE". She feels a tug on her arm, she looks back its Sean and Colbi grabbing her "Come on we have to get out of here" Sean says as they head out the backdoor.
