Chapter 8~ The Answer

Lucy's POV

Elijah and I were on our way to the 'secret' location. I was in my own little world thinking about us, what were our relationship is going to be in the near future. I hope I will be able to be his and only his forever. He constantly asked me if I was alright. Of course I didn't want to say what was on my mind, so the answer was always 'Yes, I'm fine 'Lijah, no need to worry.' It was complete silence for a few minutes. He broke the silence saying that we made it to our destination. We got out of the car at the same time and was walking through the forest. He looked kind of nervous, but I let that feeling go and not say anything about it. He ran through the forest with his vampire speed. I don't know why he would do that but he just did, so, like the person I am. I ran after him, once I felt another presence around, I knew I was okay because it was a presence that I know, and it was Elijah for sure. Once I found him, he was sitting on a little blanket waiting for me to join him. He turned his head the slightest just to see the reaction on my face. He got up and walked over to me, grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the blanket with a picnik basket. He told me to keep standing and to wait for a minute, so I did. He sped somewhere and then came back two seconds later. He started to say some words from a pretty far distance where no human ear can hear it, but I could. ''Lucy, I never felt like this with anyone else I have ever had a relationship with except for you. You make me happy, and warm on the inside, but most of all Human. When im not around you, I remember that my own mother turned me into what I am today. But I am actually kind of gratful that I have met you. What I'm trying to say is..." He paused for a minute and what looked like to me, he got down on one knee, is he proposing to me!? I threw my hand over my mouth and waited for him to finish. "Will you make me the happiest man on earth for the rest of eternity and marry me?" he asked, it was so adorable and sweet for him to do all this just to propose to me. I ran up to him, sat in his lap and gave him a hard, passionite kiss, "Elijah, without you in my life, I would of allowed Nik to kill me if you werent there. Yes, I will marry you" I told him. He had a really big smile on his face and got up and put the ring on my finger. It was a very beautiful ring, after that he looked up at me and kissed me.

Elijah's POV

"...And marry me?" I asked her, she had her hand up to her mouth in shock. I had to admit it, I was kind of nervous if she would say no. She ran up to me, sat on my knee and gave me a hard passionite kiss and then said, "Elijah, without you in my life, I would of allowed Nik to kill me if you werent there. Yes, I will marry you" she said, I had a smile plastered on my face and put the ring on her finger. I got up and made her look me in the eyes and kissed her passionatly. I pulled away and lead my new fiancé to my car and drove off to the house. I know that she will make me happy for the rest of eternity and I will to what I can to make her happy.

Hey guys! Sorry its been a while that I didnt update this book, Im starting to study for my finale exams for my first semester. I cant believe its December already! I dont want my next semester to come because all my fun subjects are this one! Ugh! I think its funny because when I read a lot of books out loud, I try to make a Canadian accent but my British accent gets in the way so its really hard to do a different accent, especally for drama and my teacher cant understand me.
