Charlis pov: me and chase sit down next to each other and eat cereal. I look at his sexy chest and he says "eyes up here hotty" I blush and look away. Dixie walks in the kitchen and makes breakfast for herself and nick walks down stairs with Bryce since they both fell asleep in the same room. Bryce says "okay not to be rude or anything but charli and chase kept me up all night" nick says "same here" I blush and again and look at chase half way laughing. While we were all eating he says "your cute charls" then Dixie says "I like him way better then mark and I barely know this guy" I roll my eyes and look away and chase says "who's mark?" And I say "he's my ex" quietly and then Dixie says "you forgot a word" then I roll my eyes and say "fine he's my abusive ex" and continue eating. Everyone looks at me weird and I just ignore it. Then say "dix why did you do that" and she says "I want people to know" "well I don't" I say. After I eat I go upstairs to brush my teeth chase comes up behind me and grabs my waste and says "what happened with mark charls" and I say "I don't wanna talk about it" then he says "okay can you at least tell me how long ago y'all broke up and how long y'all were together" I say "well we were together for about 3 months and then I finally spoke up. And that was about 3 or 4 months ago so it's been 3 or 4 months" chase hugs me and says "what did he do to you" I say "well he kicked, punched, slapped, and tried to rape me" chase looked shocked and I said "baby I'm okay" then he asked "how much did he do it?" I said "every time I saw him which was usually everyday" then he asked "how did you end it?" I said "the last time he tried to rape me I drove to the police station and showed them my bruises and cuts that I had been hiding then told them where he lived and he confessed after that" he then said "how long is he gonna be in prison?" I said "well he's in JV right now but when he turns 18 he will go to actual prison for 7 years" he hugs me and says "your so strong charls" I smile and give him a peck.
