Cant live without The Bad Boy

First term of senior year

OMG I can't believe I'm actually becoming an adult.
It's like I was in primary school yesterday, and now I'm a senior in high school.

Oh before I forget let me introduce myself. My name is Shae I'm a nerd as the children put it I've never been in a relationship because I think it will break my focus.

All went well for the first three months.
It was the last day of the week and I was just about to leave science class when the most popular boy a.k.a Mr. Badboy stopped me at the door.

I was not fond of boys and I was not a lesbian it's just that I'm focussed on my education.

I'm having problem with science class, but I can see that it's your language so I was wandering if you can help me.

I scrolled through my memory trying to find in what year would the bad boy ask a total nerd for help.

Of course I'm gonna help him it's just that I was wandering what's the ketch.

I'm only free on Fridays so that's the only day I can help you.

Ok he said as I walked pass.

I went to my locker and unpacked my bag and waited for the Bell to ring so I could leave.

I didn't keep friends but I had a true best friend his name is Jonathan.

We met the very first day of high school and we had been friends since.

At a point I was planning to date him but as I said I'm focusing on education.

The Bell rang.

I take up my bag and started walking out the door when I heard Jonathan shouting my name.

Jonathan , I said  as I turn and looked at him we greeted each other with a hug and began walking outside.

Shae , he said.

Yes, Jonathan I answered.

I'm having problem with science class and I'm hoping you can help me, of course I can and at that moment it came back to me that I'm already gonna help someone .

Okay Jonathon said.

So I'll help you on Friday because I'm helping the bad boy on Friday so I'll help you both.

What bad boy?  he asked.
Jake?

Yup I said as we both cross the road.

OMG Shae why didn't you tell me your dating the bad boy, just don't get hurt.

Woooh I said who said anything about dating a bad boy. I'm just helping him and you'll be there remember you need my help too.

So is it starting today ? he asked.

Of course not next week Friday and it will be a hour long I can't barge in on my home time.

I can't believe he asked you to help him, Jonathon exclaimed.

And why is that so? I asked.

Shae, that's the way it has been from start popular kids don't mix with us nerds ,and that's how it should be because I don't want you guys getting all close and he ends up hurting you he is a bad boy isn't he?

Jonathan don't worry I assured him. I'm only gonna help him I promise that it won't go far besides I've never been in love what makes you feel I'll fall in love with him.

He is a bad boy and a good manipulater he proclaims.

Yeah I know I said as we looked up on each other and stopped walking

He hold my hand and squeezed it as he said, look I just don't want you getting hurt.

I told you already I'm not gonna get hurt because I'm not going to be with him.

We hugged each other and walked home.

And if you're wandering we live in the same neighborhood.

About 7 minutes later I reached home and of course I'm home alone my mother is a nurse and the only time she home is on the weekend so I guess she'll be here in the next two or three hours .

I took a bath and got dressed into some legging shorts and matching color sports bra and I locked my self in my room listening music.

It has been a hour since I'm home.

I just got a text from Jonathan telling me he reached home.

So where were you?  I asked in a text.
I was at the community center sorting out some stuffs for the party tomorrow, he replied.

What party ? I asked.

OMG Shae where are you how comes you don't know about the party that keeps annually at the house two houses from yours.

Oh I replied have you forgotten I'm a house rat so fill me in on what's going on.

He didn't answer the text.

So I went to the fridge for some cake and a bottle of water.

My mom opened the door.

Mom! I screamed in joy.

Hey kiddo she said as she made her way to her room.

Mom do you know who lives in the house next to Aunt Marie.

Oh you've find out, she said.

Find out what mom, I  asked.

This boy who goes to your school, his parents generally keep a yearly party for him.

However since his parents left him with the house he started keeping teen parties and he has invited you but I know that you are not the party type so I left the invitation on the counter .

Of you want you can go.

Mom I'm not going, I answered.

I took up the invitation letter and went up to my room.

I begin to read through it.

I can't believe what I see.

It's signed by Jake.

Is it the Jake oh no that Jake drives to school.

I took up my phone to see Jonathan's response to my question.

It's the bad boys party, he said.

OMG I've been invited to the bad boys party.
