chapter 9

~same day during lunch~

~(ruby's pov)~

once i have gotten my food i went straight towards my classroom and to my desk and sat on the chair while opening up my food, i have bought a steak with rice and toasted bread with a soda called vyltal crush. After eating my lunch I had a break of work since I only have one more class at the end of the day at 4:00 so I had at least an hour of break before i get back to work, I decided to have the talk with winter. It made ,e feel so nervous because I do not want to ruin her feelings and make her sad.
So I went to my dorm setting down on my bed and grabbed my scroll getting up to her number and started to call.
Ring
The phone ranged for a couple of seconds until the ring stop hearing a voice coming through "hello"

"hello winter are you busy right now" ruby leaned towards the wall feeling more anxious by the second 

"no i am not i am just in my hotel laying in bed since its been a long day for me... so whats up is there anything you need"

"will i do need to have to talk to you about our relationship that has to deal with you and Blake but i am going to be honest....... winter i just want us to still be best friends you are the only person who was been with me and giving your support i am really glad that i have met you, i really do but i made myself realize that i am not in love you but i am in love with Blake belladanna, i know that i will be happy with her.... i have feelings for her to i hope you understand and respect on what i chose to be with i really hope this does not effect our friendship" she responded expressing herself to winter being more anxious on what winter would react and say.

~(3rd pov)~

when winter heard what ruby had to say she felt a bit sad but couldn't help to be happy for her best friend/crush, to be happy. winter sighed "its fine ruby we will always be friends no matter what but i am glad you told me,but remember i am always here for you no matter what" she smiled while looking out of the window.

ruby had tears coming out she was shocked and a bit guilty for turning down winter but she felt relief when winter said they will still be bffs, she wipes her tears away and started to smile "winter you don't know how happy i am i was so scared that i would hurt your feelings and ruining our relationship..you mean a lot to me winter even if i do not have feelings for you i will always love you as a bestie no matter what it means a lot to me that you care so much about me and i am so lucky to have ever met such a good kind hearted person" winter smiled through the phone hearing what ruby had said she mad sure to thank ruby and tell her it means a lot to her 

"will i am glad your happy ruby i will always be here for you no matter what tell blake i said take good care of you..."she paused for a moment getting a message from ironwood wanting her to do a quick job for him "well ruby i got to go i have a mission that i just received i love you make sure to take care of yourself bye" she hangs up the call leaving ruby. 

ruby sat down and smiled while having tears in her eyes since she felt guilty but happy since it went well with her and winter and they are still bffs. ruby's timer had gone off from her phone that means her lunch is over,heading back into the classroom she had at least one more class she had to teach before her job was over for the week.

ruby had started her lessons to the hunters/huntresses in training.Teaching them about the history of dust and weapons ans who uses them.Once she finishes with the lesson the bell ring she gave the signal to the student they can leave.

after the last student left ruby cleans up her desk and walks out of the classroom locking up the doors putting the keys into her pocket.

buzz...

buzz...

buzz...

ruby's scroll was buzzing ruby grabs her scroll to see a message from ozpin "miss rose may you please come up to my office it is important and its about wby or more importantly blake belladana"

ruby read the message and went straight towards ozpins office.

hope you guys like this chapter buy the time i publish this i should be starting on the second and yes its been long i have reasons why i have many stories about rwby well because i seen many stories and have gotten many ideas i am mainly gonna update this and another one thats going to be a ruby x blake story and its going to be a regular life setting and ruby is a famous actress that play in the ninjas of love which is blake's favorite book and now soon to be show!!!
