The gems arrived at the fountain and began to walk towards it.
Amethyst: ...Ok I am going to be the first to talk, but what the hell is going on right now?!
Garnet: ...Corruption...
Amethyst: How?! Steven's half human!
Garnet: It's complicated, but I have a feeling that it all started with Pink Diamo-
The sheer fact they those words were said anywhere near Steven caused him to sprout a tail. It was covered in blood and even more was on Garnet's hands. And there were third sticking out of it too.
Garnet: I was correct. Gems, from now on do not mention Rose or Pink Diamond around Steven.
The gems silently agreed as she slowly lowered Steven into the water. Seconds later the spots on his body got smaller and smaller before it stopped. There were still purple blotches, horns, tail, and his hands still had claws. But it wasn't nearly as bad as it was earlier.
Pearl: Steven, I'm so sorry this happened to you!
Pearl leaned forward and approached Steven with a hug. He pushed her away and started glowing pink.
Garnet: Steven, you need to control your emotions!
Steven: SHIT UP!
Amethyst: Cool down and let us talk it out, dude
Steven: aaaaAAAAAAAA LEAVE ME ALONE!
And in the blink of an eye, Steven had ran away from them, warping back home.
Amethyst: I can't believe it, why didn't the fountain work?!
Garnet: We will think about it later, but we need to find Steven now
The gems warped back to the temple, nothing. Neither Steven nor Connie were there, and the door was open.

Connie was tied up in a chair in a dark room. Steven was in the room with her. He put a mask on Connie, resembling rose. And he grabbed a knife while he approached her. Steven began to slowly run the knife along Connie's neck, teasing her death. He took the knife away from her throat and ran it down her arm. He wanted to kill her, he wanted to kill mom, he thought as he started to sing.
