Mikael came home from work stressed and anxious. He walked into his home He lived alone, like everyone else under sixteen does. Mikael walked over to his love seat. It was one of the few pieces of furniture Mikael owned. Besides that his house was fairly empty. He had a table in front of the love seat and in his kitchen was a refrigerator and a stove. Mikael had to save up for years to get these necessities along with his laptop. His phone was government mandated. So they could keep eyes on everyone.

Mikael got a small glass of water from the fridge and sat in front of the table. He pulled his laptop out from his bag and opened up his laptop. The first thing he did was check his email. As he expected, in his inbox was a message from IGNYTE. Mikael felt butterflies in his stomach as he clicked on his the message in his inbox.

"Dear Mikael, We are glad to see a young man interested in giving his life to helping others. We would always like more people as literally changing peoples lives is a lot of work.  But, we can not just let anyone come in and start working. I do not mean to offend but we must take precautions as what we are doing is not exactly legal. We will be doing a background check and be taking a look at your talents and skills. Just that you could find a way to contact me impressed me a lot. If everything checks out  you found yourself a new job. You will hear from us by weeks end, two days from now. Until then, watch your back and  stay safe. " -Ember.

Mikael jumped out of his seat in excitement. He hit his knee on the table, causing his laptop to shake. Mikael barely noticed. He was getting out of his own hell. For all he knew he could be entering an even more intense world, but he would be where he wanted and would deal  with it because he chose it. He asked for freedom, and this is what freedom felt like to him.
