The one thing Sadie Sink hated the most besides crust on her jelly sandwiches was traffic. More specifically LA traffic on a Tuesday evening. She was on her way to Millie and Finn's house for Elle's 5th birthday party but the traffic was making her later then she already was.

The party had started over three hours ago and Sadie was suppose to bring the cupcakes. But before leaving to the party she had gone on a special 'errand' and lost track of time. It wasn't till she finally looked at her phone and saw the 10th missed calls from Millie that had her jumping into her car and speeding over.

But with the traffic it was impossible to get her car to move. Sadie knew Millie would never forgive her for this. She just hoped that she wasn't to late and that they hadn't cut the cake.

"I'm here! I know I'm late! I'm sorry!" Sadie yelled as soon as she opened the door to Millie and Finn's house.

Finn and Eleanor were just walking by when Sadie closed the door behind her. Elle let go of her fathers hand and ran to the red head. "Auntie Dee!! You're here!" She yelled giving Sadie a hug.

Sadie smiled as she wrapped her into a tight hug. "Hey Elle! Happy Birthday!"

Sadie looked up and frowned softly at Finn. "How angry is she at me?" She asked.

Finn chuckled shaking his head as he walked towards the two. "Well it's probably best you don't tell her why your late.. by the way.. your shirt's on backwards." He said awkwardly as Eleanor giggled.

Sadie looked down at her top and noticed it was indeed backwards. She mentally cursed herself zipping up her jacket before looking at El. She handed her a perfectly wrapped up box with a gold bow. "Try not to drive your parents crazy with it okay?" She gave her a wink as Eleanor beamed before taking the present.

"Thank you Aunt Dee!" She gave her one last hug before taking her fathers hand and handing him the present.

"Geez this is heavy!.. oh no.. is it what I think it is?" He asked Sadie.

Sadie looked at Elle and smiled. "It's a secret present from aunt Sadie Daddy! C'mon let's go!"

"Thanks Sades! Millie's in the backyard cutting pieces of cake." He called out as he was dragged away by his daughter.

Sadie nodded letting out a deep sigh. She grabbed the boxes of cupcakes and made her way outside towards the backyard.

There weren't to many people at the party, except for a few of Millie's and Finn's friends and the parents from Elle's daycare. Sadie said hello as she made her way towards Millie who was cutting the cut.
