I woke up extremely tired and I plugged my straightener in and changed into ripped jeans and a crop top that has cars on them and I at down and straightened my messy brown hair and then did my makeup which was just my eyebrows, mascara, concealer, blush, and lip gloss. I slipped on my Nike airs and I grabbed my backpack, laptop, and phone and shook Bailey awake as I left the dorm. I walked into town and to a different coffee shop than usual I didn't want to accidentally bump into Christian. I ordered two coffees and a bagels and I left to get to class. I walked quickly as I went into the building and sat next to Paisley and gave her a bagel and coffee. "Thank god I'm starving." She said as she took a huge bite from her bagel. I laughed and we talked about things including Saturday night and Sunday until class started. When class ended I sat in the tiny park that was in the middle of the dorms and I read my book. "Paige?" It was my mother what was she doing here. I was shocked and confused as she stood there and waited for my reaction. "What are you doing here?" I said as I stood up from the bench. I walked away and of course she followed. "I-I need to know where your sister is she's coming with me and we're moving to Miami I found a nice man that I'm dating and he said we could live with him." As she said that I stop dead in my tracks which almost made her bump into me. How could she say that? Like hell im telling her where she is. "No I'm not telling you, you can't just come here and expect her back you may have gave birth to her but she's not yours I don't think you understand how you treated us and after you left her like that your not getting her back I will call the fucking police if you come near her or me again because your a shitty mother and we are both finally starting over and your not gonna ruin that?!" I yelled as she stood there in shock. How is she shocked? I was lucky barely anyone was out right now. What happened next I did not expect. She slapped me very hard in the check. The noise was so loud I'm sure everyone heard it My face burned like hell. "You can't tell me what to do go ahead and call the police she's my child and so are you! I'm not a shitty mother it's not my fault you both suck at being good kids I mean look at what your wearing you fucking whore I'm not leaving California until you tell me where the fuck! My child is or I'm calling the police on you!" She pointed her finger at me and I stared at her as I held my burning check. There was no doubt in my mind that my check was red and fuck and I wasn't about to get slapped again. "I'm not telling you but even if I did she's not going with you and it's so very funny that you think your a good mother after you let your kids get beaten by their father and then after he dies you take us everywhere with you like you actually care about us and then take off numerous times and then once I'm in college you fuck up both me and Ninas life by leaving her and selling the house while she's at school and then blaming me for it and dumping her with me when you know I can't take care of her because of school and my job and now she has to live alone and work for everything when she obviously now ready for that yet." I said as I turn and walked to class.
