The next day school started back and I was back onto my normal schedule. Definitely didn't miss this but I did miss my daily morning text from Cameron. I shrugged it off and went on with my day. Classes went on and I went to work but when I got back to my dorm I walked out onto the balcony and texted Cameron to come meet me. I didn't get a response. He didn't even read the text. I waited all night thinking maybe his phone died but he never came out. I walked to his dorm and knocked on the door. David said he hadn't been home since he left with me. David obviously knew what happened but I didn't. I got in my car and drove to our spot but he wasn't there either. I stayed there the whole night and by sunrise I had zero sleep and I cried the whole way back to the dorms. I called and texted him multiple times with zero response. Bailey made sure I didn't go to classes today and she watched over me the day and talked to David over the balcony. I just kept thinking about our relationship. How could he just disappear? He knew I would be worried and upset but he's gone.
