Chapter 1

"Sweetie?! Breakfast is ready!"
"Coming Mom!"

It's 7.30 in the morning in a quiet town called Smallville and when I say quiet it's like this: no cars on the street, few pedestrians, absolute peace. And Sarah Collins liked it, she liked living there, she liked the atmosphere.
It was Monday morning, a school day and she really likes to go there especially because she liked to see her friends, or rather, best friends. He finished getting dressed quickly and went downstairs to have breakfast (even that one in a hurry). Damn! School starts at 8.10 am and the bus should pass in a few minutes.

"Sweetie, you got everything you need?"
"Yes mom, I think so. I can't wait to start my day!!"
"Good I'm happy for you honey" her mom said.
"Oh look at the time I better go!!"
"Okay sweetie be careful. I'll see you later"
"Bye mom" said Sarah kissing her mom on the cheek.

While Sarah was walking, she could see other students going towards the bus stop. Some of them knew her, some greeted her and others didn't know her at all because maybe new to the city. As she waited, she gave a huge smile to her best friend, Rebecca Walker. Wow. That girl was really beautiful: red hair, green eyes, slender physique and beautiful dimples.

"Hey nerd!" said Rebecca.
"Are you talking to me?" said Sarah laughing.
"Yes what do you think?"
"Sorry, but I'm not a nerd" said Sarah.
"Yeah says the girl with all A's" said Rebecca rolling her eyes and laughing.

Sarah blushed to that comment. What was she talking about? Her? A nerd? Ha! Noooooo.

"It's called studying, you should try sometimes"
"Your a bitch you know that?" answered Rebecca laughing out loud.
"I love you too ReRe" said Sarah laughing.

Finally the bus arrived and the two girls got on and took their seats on the back. And they are late...Well it's not their fault but the driver's fault. I am sure they will explain everything to the teacher.

"Let's go and kick some people's butts!!" said Rebecca.
"What?" Sarah look at her confused.
"Just kidding neeerrrddd relax!"
"Yeah, you better be"
"Fingers crossed"

Sarah frowned at her for a couple of seconds but then softened and both laughed towards the road to success.
