The Adventure Kids and Barney discover Imagination Island

Chapter 6

Later, everyone was back on the ship having gathered all of Professor Tinkerputt's toys up to take back home with them. 

The gang was just making their final preparations. 

"How are we doing, David?" Barney asked. 

"Almost done, Barney" David said, as he and Teeders finished loading the last toy up onto the ship. 

"And we got all of the Professor's toys on board" Teeders added. 

"Great!" The friendly dinosaur beamed. 

Cynthia panted as she had finished bringing a big pile of toys up onto the ship and dropped them to the floor. "There... were... quite... a lot of them!" she sighed, wiping her hand across her forehead because she was sweaty before collapsing onto the pile of toys herself in exhaustion. 

Barney came over to Tinkerputt and Kali as they had the balloon blower going. 

"We just finished making the last balloon, Barney" Kali informed the purple dinosaur. 

Barney smiled in great gratitude before turning to Professor Tinkerputt. "It looks like your balloon machine is working perfectly, Professor!"

"It is" Tinkerputt smiled. "Thanks to Kali"

Tinkerputt soon sent the last giant sized balloon up to BJ to tie to the ship. These balloons were just what the gang needed if they were going to fly their ship home. 

"Oh, this is super-dee-duper!" Barney beamed, jumping with joy. 

"Is everybody ready?" the purple dino soon asked his friends. 

"Ready!" Everyone replied back. 

"Then cut lose the anchor!" Barney declared. 

After the anchor had been cut lose the ship slowly started to move out of the trees and with that, the gang was flying away from Imagination Island in their ship. It was just like when Peter Pan had Tinkerbell shower Captain Hook's ship with pixie dust and they flew it out of Neverland. 

"We're flying!" The adventure kids all said in awe. 

Everyone cheered and were in complete awe as they couldn't believe this. They were truly on their way now. 

"This is wonderful!" Tinkerputt said, looking to his new friends. "Who could've imagined that one day I'd sail on a flying ship?" 

Teeders smiled before looking back towards Barney who was driving the ship. "I think I know who could've imagined it"

"Yes..." Tinkerputt smiled in agreement. "Yes indeed"

The gang all smiled, looking out to admire the beautiful sunset as they continued sailing on home.

"Just imagine, just imagine. Just imagine all the things that we could be~" Barney started singing. 

"Just imagine... Just imagine~" The adventure kids started singing. 

"Imagine all the places we could go and see~" Barney sang. 

"Just imagine... Just imagine~" Tinkerputt even joined in. 

"Imagination's fun for you and me~" Everyone sang together. 

"We could go to the moon in a great big balloon. Build a castle by playing pretend~" The adventure kids along with BJ and Baby Bop sang together.  

"We might even explore with a big dinosaur!" Tinkerputt sang while standing next to Barney. 

"Or make rainbows that never end~" Barney continued singing.
