Haru and Daisuke were tasked to join the first division in infiltrating a cargo ship that is suspected to be smuggling illegal goods. The teamwork of the two were beyond hopeless and their incompatibility led to the exposure of their cover. To escape death's doorstep, the tandem was forced to make a decision. They jumped off the ship.

Haru slowly moves his lids and then opened his eyes. The strong light from above blinded him for a moment. He immediately sits up and looks around. It seems that the tides have washed them ashore.

"You better not be dead, Kambe." Haru says, grabbing a seaweed from his side and throwing it to the unconscious man.

Haru then looks behind him. There's nothing but trees. He stands up, holding his head that seemed to have suffered from a concussion. A few moments later, he heard Daisuke's groans from behind.

"Apparently, we've been washed to this uninhabited island." Haru states loud enough for the other to hear.

"Thanks to a certain someone."

"I heard you. And it wasn't entirely my fault in the first place."

Daisuke just shrugs his shoulder slightly and turns back to face the vast blue ocean.

"Can you contact your butler?"

Daisuke remains quite, just burrying his toes underneath the warm golden sand.

"I'll go look for food." Haru says and walks into the woods.

Being in this field of work sure involves times where you can only put your life on the line in order to survive. That is why people who apply undergoes extensive trainings first. Of course, they are not expected to master every training program but they are expected to have the basics down. Basics include critical thinking and survival skills in cases of emergencies.

Haru fishes from his pockets his Swiss Army knife, the only tool that he never fails to bring wherever he goes. In a far distance, he spots fruits and immediately judged it as edible.

Daisuke stayed seated until Haru came back. He flicks his attention behind him when the sound of something falling to the ground sounded off. It was Haru who dropped all the food he managed to collect.

"I can assure you they're safe to eat." Haru proudly declares as he repeatedly throws his tool in the air and catches it back, smiling widely.

Daisuke didn't utter a word and just stands on his feet.

Haru frowns. "Hey, at least praise me a little. It was hard work, you kno---"

"You did great."

Haru froze in place when Daisuke tousled his hair as he walk past him. He didn't see that coming.

"W-What was that for?" He splutters, heat creeping to his burning cheeks.

He pressed his palms against his throbbing chest. What's with that sudden gentle act? And why is my heart beating crazily like this?

The sun finally touched the horizon. Any moment soon, darkness will swallow everything. Haru managed to prepare everything just in time. The food, fresh water and the woods needed to build a fire.

"How does it feel to live a day in a place where your money has no value?" Haru asks in a casual tone as he hands Daisuke a platter of various fruits.

"It's completely fine." He replies, warming his hands by bringing it nearer to the fire.

"How is it fine?"

"I have you to do all the work."

Haru growls, glaring at the snickering man. "Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not your slave. I'm just being helpful." He clarifies, playing with the sea shells laying at his feet.

The crackling sound of the woods and the calming sound of the waves clashing against the shore filled in the silence between the two.

"I hope you've realized by now that money cannot always be there for you. Unlike people..." Haru speaks in a serious tone, maintaining eye contact with Daisuke.

"What you're trying to say is that I should have good relationship with other people."

"Exactly. A genuine relationship that is not moved by the notion of money but by kindess and mutual respect."

"Then I guess you're the very first person whom I share a genuine bond."

Once again, Haru found himself at loss for words. He's simply mentally unprepared for Daisuke's sudden attacks that seems to tug at his heart.

"What's wrong with you today? You keep saying strange things." He mumbles, bringing his knees up to his chest so he could bury his red face in them.

Silence once again dominated the atmosphere. And then droplets start falling from the skies. Haru holds his palms open and the faint drops start to attack them like small bullets.

"Why the sudden rain?"

The two run towards the trees for shelter but the plants barely gave them a dry place to stay. Strong winds then vigorously blew, mercilessly worsening the situation of the two.

Haru's body trembled and his lips quivered in the cold. He decided to dig a hole in the sand large enough for his entire body to fit. He laid down and then covered himself with leaves.

"Excuse me."

That's all what he heard before he felt someone lie next to him.

"What are you doing?" He asks, surprised. "And why are you getting undressed?"

"Haven't you heard of exchanging body heat? You strip off too."

"Don't kid with me." Haru roars, attempting to land a punch but Daisuke stopped his hand.

"I'm serious. Do it."

As if Daisuke's heated gaze was some spell, Haru surrendered, coming into terms that there isn't any other way to stay alive until morning. "Argh. Okay, I'm doing it."

He turns the opposite way and a pair of strong arms slither around his torso, gently laying him to the ground.

"You better not pull something stupid." Haru warns and he felt Daisuke's arm pull him closer and Daisuke's legs cover his lower half.

It's warm. Haru thought and without thinking, he placed his arms above Daisuke arms.

"Hey, Kato." Daisuke whispers in a seemingly frustrated tone.

"Hm?" Haru replies, slightly tilting his face to the man.

"Stop squirming around too much."

"I can't help it. I'm not comfortable with this posi---"

"Your ass keep nudging my member. Now its gone hard."

"Kambe Diasuke, you son of a bitch!"

God, I swear I'll swim my way back to Japan if this goes on.
