We all have moments in our lives we wish we forgot, or maybe, even hoped it was a dream, a daydream, a delusional illusion we had. Or maybe wished it was some cruel joke your mind wanted to play on you.
What I'm about to share, is one of those moments, I hoped didn't really happen...
I remember the night, the date and time. It was June 16, 2015. Tuesday. Exactly 7:52 PM.
I wasn't allowed to stay up past 8, and frankly, due to my rather control freak of a step mom, I was supposed to be asleep by 7:30. But, I couldn't. My body refused to rest, I needed to be out of the room, it was almost a fear even. Although I've been in that room basically all my life and never have I experienced crazy stuff in that room particularly, something screamed bad.
Not only was I restless and tossing and turning, but I couldn't open my eyes, it felt rather safe. But against my own well being, I opened them to check the time, I had an iPad and it read in bright white numbers. 7:52. I sighed and sat up, my heart was pounding, I didn't see or hear anything, almost in a creepy eerie way. My ears didn't even ring, I rubbed my ears to get the silence away which gave me an odd sense of anxiety.
And clearly I heard a Male shout, I still don't know what he said but it was something like "Don't" or "Taint" my heart was pounding heavily, but I laid back down and hugged my knees in the corner of my bed. I was absolutely terrified.
I started counting, which I eventually fell back asleep. My father wasn't the type to believe in ghosts or spirits, so talking to him about it was a no go. Nor was my step mom or step brother. And my other siblings were too young. So I kept this experience quiet.
If you have experienced something like this, do let me know. Still to this day, I never understood that odd fear.
That's all my introverted butterflies, always remember you're never alone, in this cold mysterious world.
