Best Friends

Pining

Florida Man is drunk, sad and pining over Australia Man. He was way gayer than he liked to admit, and so he was in the closet. This made him fearful of being found out. He knew that Australia Man would accept him, but he was still irrationally afraid. This led to him crying in the bathroom.

The bathroom didn't have much privacy, adding to his embarrassment. It was then he realized that Gray was killing them by embarrassing them to death (again). So many thoughts buzzed around in his head that he didn't notice Australia Man walk into the bathroom until he was pulled into an embrace.

This only made the ache in his chest worse as he choked back a sob. He couldn't hear the reassurance Australia Man tried to provide. As he curled in on himself, a heartbreaking cry tore itself from his throat. Australia Man silently comforted Florida Man as he cried in his embrace.

Australia Man notices that Florida Man has calmed down enough to the point where he could talk in complete sentences.

"What's gotten you so gloomy, mate?" Australia Man asks with a look of concern on his face. Something had to be seriously wrong for him to break down like this. He catches the smell of alcohol and immediately knew his best friend was hammered.
He notices the bags under Florida Man's eyes, feeling more concerned than before.

Florida Man looks down and says "I don't want to talk about it." He hiccups from the crying and drunkenness. Florida Man's face burned in embarrassment. He wanted death at that moment, but realized that seeing Australia Man grieve would break him.

Australia Man respects that Florida Man didn't want to talk about it. He embraces his  friend again and whispers "Mate, I will always be there for you. You are my best friend." He smiles sadly, knowing Gray will try to kill them all.

They hear the music as grim shows up next to Ellis Dee's body. This sends the already distressed Florida Man into tears. Australia Man played with Florida Man's hair as the man sobbed into his chest again. He realizes that Florida Man had been hiding his emotions for too long and let's him cry.

Florida Man's cry's calm to a whimper as the man becomes to tired to cry.

"Let's get you to the couch. You need to sleep. You are drunk and sleep deprived." Australia Man suggested as the normally happy Florida Man nodded into his chest. He lifted the tired man, carrying him to the couch.

They drifted off to sleep in each other's arms not knowing that they had crushes on each other.
