yerim's friends knew a lot of people.
you might ask, "doesn't that mean yerim knows a lot of people too?" i mean, i guess that does seems reasonable but the answer is no.

yerim was a closed book. she only had her friend group which consisted of park sooyoung, park chaeyoung, kim saeron, im nayeon, and jennie kim.

yes. just 5 friends. yerim does have some friends that are male but she's not the closest to them.

jungkook? jungkook is very social. not a closed book at all. jungkook has a lot of fan girls. he definitely cringes when they call him names. "help me, this is basically hell." of course, jk has many friends. he does consider his friend group being filled with his closest friends!

jungkook's friend group consists of
kim taehyung, park jimin, min yoongi,
kim yugyeom, and cha eun woo.

it's crazy. their friend groups know each other really well but yerim and jungkook have never met. 'how' you may ask?
well, jungkook has noticed yerim before but he thought she was annoying.

yerim has also noticed jungkook before but she thought he was a player who was incredibly petty. since they had different opinions of each other, they decided to stay away from each other.

and yes, they are in school. (obviously for this fanfiction.) it's 2020, a new year.
