The first thing I noticed is the awful smell of sex and vomit. I really wanted to leave but I knew Steph wouldn't let me. She had a hard grip on my hand. I knew I could get her off me, but I really want it to relax and dance for a little bit.

"Let go get a drink!" Olivia yells in my ear as she leads me and Steph to the bar. She begins to shove through the crowd on the dance floor, a lot of them turned to glared at her but would look away as soon as they saw the Olivias big security guard behind us.

Olivia's father had a very important position in some big company. I honestly don't know much; she doesn't like talking about it. I met her when I had first moved here a couple months back, she was my very first friend. We kind of have a silent agreement where she doesnt ask me about my past and I dont ask about her family.

"Three tequila shot please," Steph orders as she puts down a 20 on the countertop. The bartender nods at her and quickly works on getting us those shots. We all quickly take a seat on the bar as her bodyguard, Sam, stands behind her. We take a shot as the bartender puts them in front of us.

"I have work tomorrow morning, you know," I tell Steph as she orders more shots for us. She rolls her eyes as she slides the second shot towards me.

"Oh, come on Ava have some fun, its your birthday!" She pouts at me.

"Fine but this is the last shot, you know Im not a big fan of drinking." I roll my eyes when they begin to cheer as I took my last and only shot. They dragged me onto the dance floor after they took two more shots.

Oh, come on A, dance with me, he throws me a charming smile as he extends me a hand. I roll my eyes as bring my beer up to my lips. The rest of the table snickers as he pouts and sits back down. That was cold A, real cold. He crosses his arms and slides down the chair. Josh has always been the goofball of the group, always making us laugh.

I chuckle as the rest of the guys begin to tease him. I lean back and observe the rest of my squad my eyes landing on Cap. I think I had a bit too much to drink as I realize how attractive he is. My eye catches the ink on his big strong arms and slowly make my way up to his big broad shoulders. I noticed that he hadnt had the chance to shave since we got back. I realize he just caught me checking him out as my eyes make contact with his grey eyes. Instead of looking away, I maintain eye contact as I take a swing of my beer. He raises an eyebrow and a slight smirk appears as he lightly chuckles.

Why cant I stop thinking of him? I am brought back to real life as I hear a scream coming from the front entrance. I ignored it as I taught it was just some girls until I noticed Sam reaching for his weapon. I immediately became concerned when I saw people leaning over trying to see what was happening. I have a really bad feeling about this, I wasnt going to risk getting caught in that crowd. I got in top of one of the bar stools and tried to see through all the people.

"Ava, what do you see?," Steph pulls at my jeans, standing on her tip toes trying to see what is going on.

"I dont know Steph, but I really dont like this," I threw a concerning look to Olivia and Sam as he pushes her behind him. I finally catch a glimpse of a guy on the floor with who I would have guessed was his girlfriend crying over him. I see people pulling out their phones calling 9-1-1. I get of the stool and grab Stephs hand. I glance at Sam signaling him to follow me as I lead them to the back exit.

"No Ava I dont want to leave," Steph pulls at hand trying to make me let go of her hand.

No Steph lets g- I snap my head towards the big crowd as they all gasp. I kneel to try to catch a glimpse at whats going on.

In between the legs of the many people I catch a glimpse of the mans hand moving.
